#explosion sauce

Specifically calling it a sauce, as well as it having a darker color and the addition to mustard, lead me to believe it has the classic elements of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.

Some recipes seem to hit with a bit of hot sauce at the end, but I believe we'll be replacing that with the hint of cilantro. I don't eat cilantro, so this is my best guess, but feel free to add more to taste and leave feedback.

"Explosion Sauce"

Ingredients:

- 2 Cups Apple Cider Vinegar

- ¾ Cup Ketchup

- ¼ Cup Dark Brown Sugar

- 1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard

- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

- 1 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

- 1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt

- ½ Teaspoon Ground Pepper

- ½ Teaspoon Cilantro (Freshly Chopped or Paste)

Directions:

- Combine ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan and bring to a boil.

- Reduce to a simmer and whisk occasionally until glossy and thickened to your liking.

- Remove from heat, taste and adjust seasoning.

- Cool to room temperature and serve with your choice of shredded meat. Cooled sauce can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
