spring rain falling like petals in the ocean: ten ways on how to not shift
I used to be leydenkilgore as of last year 2025. Since then, I’ve had a lot of change of my life from having a baby, moving back to my homeland in Russia, and getting used to a more modest lifestyle. I honestly for a few months forgot about shifting with all I had going on. It actually felt like I had lost my abilities when I focused on running my family’s fishing business, reconnecting with my father, and being pregnant. It wasn’t until about late last month that I even considered manifesting again as I feel I have everything I wanted.
I think that shifting can mean something different to everyone. I have my own personal beliefs around how shifting works. This has been formed on my own childhood raised in strict Buddhism, reading the works of others, and my own experiences with reality. I believe that our realities are formed by our waking minds over a period of years from around 4 to age 10. That’s when I remember reality really setting in, and the line between real life and make belief is solidified. This can be changed at any moment in life by simply aligning your thoughts with reality. The optimal state to transform your reality is in a state where your logical mind is quiet (not absent). Some people can do this on ayahuasca, trance states, meditation, and even sleep. Others can’t seem to get a hang of it.
Why is that? There are some people that can learn to knock a few arrows on target in six minutes, while another man will lose his toe in five. Everyone has different muscles activated throughout childhood. It’s just like how some people are confident and effervescent, while some apologize to the door when they run into it. Some simply have not worked this out. You can fix this by simply working on baby steps. I mean convince yourself that you or your deity of choice has caused a success. So, say you are crossing the street and as soon as you get there the sign is ready for you to go. Your mind did that. It’s a sunny day and you can go outside, believe you did that. Go on and on with that until you are confident.
When you are confident, begin forming pictures in your mind. You have to be sure this is what you want. I find that you are able to shift easiest when you want it badly. Not in a “I don’t believe I can make it but I have it to go now.” Just calm and cool, this is what I want and you are all in. Keep doing that, you’ll get there.
A lot of people in the early days of shifting suffered from being misled by “teachers” who claimed to know the answer. They were then distracted by making scripts, rules, and methods that confined the brain. Literally all you have to do is train yourself to want to be where you desire and you will.
My shifting journey left below
A preface on what this account is for. I’ll primarily use this account when I’m back in sf visiting my mom and actually have some downtime. I don’t think I’ll ever post again like I did as there isn’t that much to say. Don’t spend your whole life waiting around and hoping that the next post you read will have the answers. You have them.
Now, my own shifting journey. I’ve done just about everything there is to do. Your consciousness has many facets that are silmuntaneouly (I can’t spell this word right - relax this is not my first language) existing at the same time in different realties. I was always raised to believe that the living and the dead are both alive unseen from each other as hold over from the shamanistic beliefs of my great grandparents who lived on the island of Sakhalin before going to Japan. Ainu beliefs have always been something that my family has been embarrassed of. My father’s family came to Hokkaido in the 1940s in what was supposed to be a temporary refuge from the Soviets but they were not allowed to return. After that, they stopped speaking Ainu and assimilated with the Japanese. The only thing Ainu about my family is that we fished off the sea, occasionally ate seal that my grandfather hunted in far eastern Russia, and had coarse hair. It wasn’t until last year that I became interested in the kamui and other belief systems aside from Buddhism. I’ve always known my father is ethnically Ainu not Japanese but I’ve been raised to be ashamed of it because of my father’s looks. He’s of pretty much pure Ainu and Gilyak descent, so he’s never been able to look Japanese. And growing up everyone made fun of me for his looks and I’ve always hung closer to Japanese nationality and the culture that comes with it rather than the truth. Anyways, there are many lessons from these beliefs that I think can apply to today. I might talk more about how Ainu myths relate to shifting.
I’ve suddenly become fascinated with the way my ancestors lived on Sakhalin before the Russians became the majority. My relationship with the colonization of Siberia has always been kind to wrapped in my own idolization of Slavs because I falsely thought it was one. Apparently, my great grandfather on my mother’s side was not Slavic and he was just a Nogai that was a Kuban Cossack. My family in the Stalinist purges covered this up by saying we were Russians and it was repeated. I found this out when I had to take a series of dna tests (and the other one to prove who the father is) to qualify for citizenship in Japan because when I was born apparently my mother didn’t bother to get the proper papers from Russia. Being born in rural Russia in the mid 2000s, is a bureaucratic mess. There was absolutely no Russian related dna except for a very small trace. I’m actually pretty much just northeastern Asian and central asian with a small amount of Caucasus related dna from my Georgian great grandmother. (Everyone in my family pretty much met in labor camps or university which is why I’m so mixed.)
This long explanation is to say that I’ve been shifting to pre contact Sakhalin to understand what it was like. How I’ve been doing this is pretty basic. I’ve been experimenting with different herbs and holistic mushrooms (very mild) to get me in a calm state, then I imagine where I want to be, and I just wake up there. I usually do tho after waking up in the morning at five or during a nap when my baby is sleeping. Any other time won’t work. I’ll write something more on the different herbs. African dream root gives the best cinematic dreams and can lead to lucid. Mugwort I would say makes things vivid. Blue lotus and damiana did nothing for me. Passionflower tea makes my mind clear.
