me,  when  i  think  about  this pairing.  okay,  but  on  a  serious  note  😂  this  pairing  is  very  complex  &  i  love  a  good  challenge  when  it  comes  to  friendships  like  this.  i  love  that  kou  is  many  “ first  things ”  for  both  mitsubas’  — kou  is  their  first  friend,  the  first  person  they  can  rely  on,  &  the  first  person  they  can  confide  in.  &  despite  the  differences  both  mitsubas’  have,  i  can  appreciate  the  effort  kou  puts  in  to  try  and  understand  both  of  them  individually.  but,  just  as  there  are  good  sides  to  this  pairing,  there’s  also  bad  sides  to  it  ?  i  guess  ?  but,  that’s  up  for  debate,  tbh.  b/c  this  pairing  has  more  good  things  to  offer  over  the  bad  sides  to  their  relationship.  it’s  obvious  to  me  how  much  their  relationship  is  taking  a  tow  on  kou  &  it  doesn’t  help  the  fact  that  he  struggles  opening  up  to  people  about  it.  kou  would  go  to  great  lengths  just  to  understand  what  mitsuba  is  going  through,  &  most  of  them,  is  just  him  making  terrible  life  decisions  like  in  picture  perfect  arc,  tbh.  like  ?  kou,  are  you  okay  ?  are  you  good  ?  lmao  it  just  dawns  on  me  how  much  mitsuba  is  unaware  of  what  kou  is  going  through  when  it  comes  to  their friendship.  they  just  need  a  long - ass  swim  to  LA,  sit  down  under  umbrella  seats,  &  talk  about  their  life  struggles  lmao  ‘cause  they  really  need  it  ✌

i’m  actually  willing  to  invest  myself  in  this  dynamic  if  anyone  would  like  too  omg !  i  never  considered  them  as  a  pair  before,  but  i  can  see  it’s  true  potential.  romantic  or  not.  i  always  thought  these  two  have  a  lot  of  things  in  common  — they  have  the  same  thought  process,  they’re  both  sly  &  dependable  people,  &  if  it  comes  down  to  it,  i  can  see  them  being  loyal  towards  each  other  with  the  right  dynamics  &  interactions,  you  know ?  i  think  they  can  become  a  powerhouse !

i  like  this  pairing !  i  always  treasured  their  relationship  from  day  one.  it  was  obvious  to  me  how  much  they  care  about  each  other  from  the  start.  nene  is  someone  aoi  wanted  to  invest  their  relationship  with  &  value  their  friendship.  so,  i  can  see  why  aoi  struggles  to  open  up  about  herself  in  fear  of  rejection.  but,  it’s  obvious  to  me  that  despite  everything  that  happened  btwn  them,  nene  will  still  love  her  &   forgive  her  for  the  things  aoi  has  done  to  her  in  this  arc.  after  all,  nene  values  their  relationship  just  as  much  as  she  does.  i  just  hope  that,  after  a  long  talk  of  reconciliation,  nene  can  finally  have  someone  to  talk  too  about  her   adventures  with  kou  &  hanako.  i  want  them  to  have  a  long - ass  tea  party  with  nanamine,  so  they  can  bond  over  tea  &  girl  talk  lmao  no  boys  are  allowed,  thank  you  very  much !

I would love to see Nene’s sexuality explored, but in my mind Nene treasures Aoi (and puts her on a pedestal) too much plantonically to see them romantically. Aoi is Nene’s best friend and someone incredibly important to her, but not in any romantic sense

What can I say, except I fucking adore these two ? Kou clearly adores Mitsuba, and Mitsuba to Kou in return. They’re lovely and tragic and god. So much “what could have been”s if Mitsuba was alive, but so much cuteness now.
