'Let your soul glow' ☀️ // Exploring the Gothic Quarter (the oldest part of Barcelona) during sunrise was so peaceful and calming! 😀 The glow and the sunlight illuminating these cobblestone streets made the scene so fun to photograph and the moment the sun shone through Pont del Bisbe (Bishop's Bridge built in 1928) pictured above topped it off! 😍 - A romantic feeling was definitely in the air and there were so many pre-wedding photoshoots happening! 👫🏻 Would you wake up early in the morning to experience this yourself? - Part of my trip to Barcelona w/ @expedia at the beginning of the year! 'Nothing is invented, for it is written in nature first' - Antoni Gaudi // I'm super excited to finally share why I was in Barcelona at the beginning of this year (pre-COVID) - to explore the city and it's architecture for the first time with @expedia! 😀 We went to so many beautiful locations but the highlight of the trip was definitely visiting this building, La Sagrada Familia 😍 - I've studied this building a lot since I was in architecture school and to finally see it with my own eyes was crazy! 🤯 The amount of detail and work that's been put into this building is absolutely ridiculous, especially back in the late 1800's when there were no computers to design/document the building! 😱 No wonder it's taken them more than a century to construct, and it's still not even finished yet (projected to finish in 2026 - the 100 year anniversary of Gaudi's death)! Have you ever seen a crazier building than this before? - Travel tip: If you're planning to visit this place, make sure you go just before sunset so you see the light shining through the stained glass window and projected onto the ceilings (Slide 5)! 😍 It was so magical!
