So I’ve been struggling to write for a little while now, just general lack of motivation I guess, and decided to search through a few different AUs for motivation to get back into writing and inevitably went back to one of my favourite AUs, Venomcup. Although I already have a Venomcup fic (Overdose) and Hiccup already falls under a separate AU from using Hicca (Female Hiccup) instead of standard Hiccup to give myself more options, combine that with how I already have developed complex yet justified relations and general persona that it would just be a shame to claim venom and make it all worthless when I could go for an option B. So here’s option B, inspired by not just the AU, but even some of the smallest details from @lunarcrown, the creator of the Venomcup AU, such as how the Deathgrippers would become addicted to their own venom and what that could do to a human.

Of course though, with Hiccup off of the short list for people to pump venom into their blood, there was a void to be filled, a void that allowed me to make an AU of an AU. Without any further rambling, may I introduce to you my latest idea and my new idea for an Alternate Alternate universe that I surely will develop more in the future, Venom Astrid, or as I’ve named it, the Expe AU.

To be introduced in the coming chapters of Daughter Of The Armada; Astrid, now a name she no longer remembers, served under Grimmel courtesy of an experiment with deathgripper venom. now she’s dependent upon the venom to stay sane despite how much anyone tries to detox her, leaving her with a deep scar around her neck from her old collar and ultimately leading to a deal being struck with Grimmel and the broken girl no longer responding to her old name, only what Grimmel called her, Experiment 501 or eventually accepting Expe.
