She had to slip away from it all. The music, the dancing, the boisterous conversation that Scarabia’s Housewarden wanted to engage in. Jiyuu could hardly stand it; Kalim’s brightness that was much too overwhelming for her tastes. In fact, the girl freshman wasn’t even entirely sure as to why she was there in his dorm in the first place. Last she remembered, afternoons were meant for running errands assigned by Crowley in order to at least earn their keep specially since they were being allowed to stay at Ramshackle free of charge.

The rest of their living conditions, however, didn’t come with the same generosity. And she preferred it that way, rather than be in debt to someone needlessly.

So how could she have been ambushed like this? Whisked away from her duties without much regard for her decision let alone her time? A flying rug. Had she not found it stranded atop one of the apple trees at the Courtyard, then perhaps she could have avoided this giant bundle of excess energy that didn't understand what the word 'no' meant. Alas, not so.

Which was why Jiyuu decided to escape to what looked like the dorm kitchen, where it seemed that the noise was less save for the sound of whatever was being whipped up in there-- which she didn’t expect would be so plenty. Even then, PLENTY, felt like an understatement when she looked at rows and rows of varying delicacies, meticulously prepared.

needless to say, this was an expected response.     having to grow alongside sebek since childhood, silver has long accustomed to his fellow bodyguard’s loud  ( more so unnecessarily annoying )  and boisterous voice. the amount of times he had to correct the other’s behavior whilst in public has come to the point he long lost count: not that it’d ever cease ... if only sebek would actually listen to his good natured heeds. silver knew, more than anyone, that everything sebek done was purely for the sake of malleus’ own attention and truly meant well but who else outside of their dormitory would realize that? he’d come off as highly arrogant, as riddle deemed him so and it couldn’t be further from the truth.

leave it to the dorm leader of scarabia   to make the best out of any situation, given the right tools and atmosphere. while most of silver’s being almost felt bad, if not guilty, kalim had went through such amount of trouble to help his drowsiness, another part was very grateful on meeting someone this compassionate and kindhearted. aside from sebek, he never had the rightful people nor the time to create meaningful connections while growing up so it’d be an understatement to claim silver was knowledgeable on current upkeeps, aside from lilia’s constant gaming nights and needs to keep with the trends. such has changed, however, after meeting and befriending many of the students in the campus and while the sense of doubt lingers deep down, silver would feel nothing but glee knowing he could spend time like this in par to his duties, cherishing these memories for the rest of his life.

  It’s an obvious statement, but that conclusion isn’t meant to be malicious. Yuuna perceives Deuce -- along with the other first years that have created their gang -- as someone who’s young. It’s not simply a matter of age. They’ve yet to become anything close to adults. She won’t admit to her envy of it, how jealous she feels at times to see them struggle with schoolwork and have tiny, friendly arguments amongst themselves. 

  Though, the truth is that she gets the overwhelming desire sometimes to simply watch over and mentor them the same way the sun and moon hover above. Deuce is hardworking and has his own goal he wants to pursue. He feels familiar to her in that sense -- because she was and still is the same way. So, it can’t be helped if Yuuna gets a little invested in her friend’s journey, right ? It’s something she should have seen coming.

  “ That’s true, ” Yuuna responds, giving a thoughtful nod. 

  “ You are still learning, so try not to be too hard on yourself, okay, Deuce ? ” 

  Does it sound silly to him ? Even if such words of encouragements get passed along, she wonders if he’ll take them to heart and practice them.

The rain pattering gently against the window feels out of place compared to Momiji's bright, sunny disposition. The other students who had finished their cleaning duties for the day were milling about as they made their way out of the school. Umbrellas snapped open in the courtyard below. Despite the gloomy weather, she feels like she’s standing directly next to personified sunshine, and she can feel his warmth. 

           “Oh I’m but a classmate of your brother, Jamil~ A rather smart lad if I do say so myself!” A laugh sounded from Azul as he offered her his hand with a hum, he was a gentleman and he wasn’t about to let that drop anytime soon.
