you need to heal the creative part of your soul, the truest and deepest part of you, what brings your personality and spark. you may have been feeling at a loss recently, like you’re not sure which way you should be going, and that’s because you’re not paying enough attention to this part of you.

the way to heal this part of your soul is to simply move forward, ignore the voice that’s telling you not to create, not to be true to yourself, and do what you know you’re meant to be doing. take the time to bring something new into the world, to bring the hidden parts of yourself into the open, and you’ll find the process of healing to be easier than you thought.

the changes coming your way are mostly going to be internal, but will require just as much attention and care as an external change would. you need to find a better way to organize your thoughts, because right now they’re unclear. 

the changes you need to make will help you move forward with a clear goal in mind, and will also help you problem solve better. you’ll be able to let go of mental chaos and instead find balance within yourself.

dealing with these changes won’t be easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. find others who are trying to make the same changes and lean on them, talk with them, learn from them. find a support system to help you make these changes.

A few years ago a Party of the Rockingham Lace-makers travelled to Bobowa, Poland to learn their type of lace at a workshop run by Ewa Szpila.

We stayed with Ewa and her family. Her eldest son made an excellent job of translating and her husband was chief cook and house keeper, there was also a daughter and another son. One of the joy’s of staying with a local family was being accepted by the locals. 2 of us went to the local high school as they wanted to hear English spoken by English people, not as it is taught in school - not too sure what they made of our Yorkshire English. When the children found out we were not too far from Manchester they asked a lot of questions about Manchester United and wanted to know how close we were to the coast. One of the amusing things was when we were having our after-lunch walks through the town /village the school kids would come up to us just to say good morning even though it was the afternoon.

Bobowa is in a mining area but the surrounding mountains and rivers are very beautiful. When we were there it was just like going back the 1950’s, farmers still ploughing by horse power, mind you this might be because the fields were all on slopes.

Okay, so I've been wanting to write for a while. Here's something that I just came up with. I'm not sure if anyone wants to see more. So please tell me if you want to see more or not. Thanks. Sam.

PROLOGUE

Running. Running. My heart goes faster and faster. I'm not sure where I'm at. I hear a  loud boom. A tree falls behind me. I'm running in the woods. I push through the leaves and start sprinting faster. A tree that is hollowed out is on the forest floor. I bury myself in the leaves and try to lay still. Silence. I'm being chased by something. I don't know what though. Something grabs my shoulder. I turn around to see a blue eyed, blonde headed boy that looked to be about 16 or 17 next to me. "Name's Shawn. And just where do you think you're going?" he spoke. 

I couldn't speak. I tried harder and harder to speak. "Oh, so you're fresh meat," He winked, "Here eat this, it'll help you talk in the forest." He handed me a green leafy leaf. I glanced at him, the stranger I just met wanted me to eat something that looked like poison ivy. He nodded. I took one bite. Swallowed. It was a sweet taste, kind of like sugar and honey. Better than expected. "Eat up. The more you eat the more you'll be able to talk." I ate the rest of the plant. And then I try to speak. "My," astonished that this worked I stopped midway, "My name's Megan. I'm not sure where I'm at. I was just running, and, and a tree fell behind me." I said.

"I know I was watching you, Megan. Someone's been after you for the whole time you've been in the Evergreen Forest." 

       "What? Where am I?" I looked around one more time as I said this, trying to identify where I was at.

He chuckled a creepy chuckle. "Child. You're in the Evergreens. The most magical place in the Aurora."

I stared at him. "Where's the Aurora?", I was screaming now, "Who are you!? Why are you following me!?" 

He once again laughed. His face started to melt. I screamed in disbelief running further into the woods. 

"You can run but you can't hide child! No one has ever been able to hide, for that is why I'm still alive."

I looked back one more time. His face. He was not Shawn. His eyes were a bright icy blue now. His hair was now a black instead of the blonde that I saw before. He was standing up now. Looking straight into my direction. Sniffing the air, like a dog.   I kept running. Afraid of my fate if I stayed. I heard a loud boom. I kept running unaware of where I was running to, or what I was running from. Another loud boom, closer this time to me. I picked up speed. Running faster and faster until it felt like I was going as fast as I could. I heard a wolf howl and then more after that howl louder. Birds chirping, the sound of my footsteps on the forest floor, my own heart beat, and then, someone else's? I turned to see someone running along side of me. More people appeared. I looked over to see who, or what, it was. A boy that looked about my age, 15 or 16, and a girl with fiery red hair.

Terror was in both of their eyes. I just kept running. Not caring where I went as long as I got away from this place, this terrifying place. I looked straight again, pushing tree branches out of the way and dodging whatever was thrown my way. I ran far away from the others. Not being sure if I should run away from them or stay with them. I spotted a clearing. To where I then I ran into. Someone screamed. I turned around to see the red headed girl, being dragged back into the woods, something had gotten her, the boy was staring in horror. I grabbed his arm and took him to a nearby tree on the other side of the clearing. I was running as fast as possible, trying not to trip over anything. I didn't speak to the boy but said "Stay put. You hear me?" He nodded. I decided to run back and get the girl. Not sure what I was getting myself into I tried not to think about it so much. Just run. Left leg, right leg, breathe Megan, breathe, calm yourself.
