My best friend and I are having an existential crisis.
Sigh.
I feel like I had a fire light under my ass today. From seeing a lot of great work produced by local talent and talking to a lot of people I've been working with, it really puts into perspective how much harder I need to be working. Every time I meet someone who is twice my age and still struggling in the same field I want to work in it scares me. When I meet people who are so much more passionate about what they do than I am, yet they are settling for a normal job because they cannot dedicate themselves to the lifestyle. When I think about how great of a situation I am in and the opportunities I'm wasting. I've lived my life in this safe bubble and I'm afraid when I get out into the real world it will crush me. I want to make my own path and succeed. I want to bring those people with me who have struggled so hard. I want to give them the opportunities they deserve to live off of their talents.
