Once I chose the boards to fill it in, they were screwed down, then cut to the shape of our support.
Buddhist Temple Arch Fabrication, Part 1:
As we get the Buddhist iconography exhibit installation underway, one of the decorative elements weβre doing is a temple arch. My father loaned us the antique lumber and did the fabrication.
The ink has dried on the walls of our gallery, just in time for our Yasuo Kuniyoshi exhibit to open on Monday, March 30.Β

In the midst of chaos...
I get to help install an exhibit this afternoon. Nice break from the stress of the last week of classes, right? Of course, I'll mostly be making fake potatoes and cleaning plexiglass, but it should still be a good time. I'll try to bring my camera and get some pictures for you, then when you all come and visit the Baseball Hall of Fame and deem to drive down the road and visit the actual cool museums, you can see what it was all about :)
