I keep thinking back to that one tweet of Wels comparing Hels to a demon while saying Ex isn't as bad as he is cause they're "redeemable"
makes me think if that would be how Hels views Ex, as in, they aren't a helsmit, they aren't fundamentally made from the insides out to be made of only the worst things in humanity, like Hels is, it's an active choice... meaning they can simply just become much better than he is, because they're capable of being better
but at the same time Ex considers themselves bad to the bone, they're very insistent on fulfilling that role as their own (is it fully?) choice in life and as their whole identity, meanwhile Hels was born into that role with the destiny to fulfill it until the end of his times, without much of a say in it
so I wonder if they would view each other as less bad or less evil than the other, Ex thinks Hels isn't as bad because he's simply following what he was born to fulfill, and Hels doesn't think Ex is as bad because they were driven to that path, not born into it, and therefore can still be saved (redeemed)
