Our Newest PATH Pop-Up—Greenhouse Exchange Tower—is Open!

Dear Friends,

We’re thrilled to announce that the latest little House to join our family has opened in the Exchange Tower!

As this shiny new pop-up opens, another must close, so with that, we wave goodbye to our Commerce Court location. Originally planned as a pop-up location, we figured we’d be nestled inside the Commerce Court store for just six months. You had other plans, and allowed us to stay open for over three and a half years!

Subterranean city-dwellers: fear not! We’re not leaving the PATH—this new location can be found on the Concourse level of Exchange Tower, and will carry the full lineup of our plant-based sippables and edibles, including our brand new Iced Lattés—which are almost as colourful as the store’s ceiling! 

Like our last PATH home, the new digs are a pop-up. Again, we plan to be here for six months, and we only hope to have the same success as last time...

Greenhouse Nosh: Gosh, of course! You may find our full plant-based food menu (prepared by our mind-bendingly wonderful friends at Foodbenders and inspired by The Greenhouse Cookbook) at Greenhouse Exchange Tower. 

Our collard wraps, panini, salads, chia puddings, and more provide the perfect base for a meal-on-the-go, if we do say so ourselves. Finish them off with a sippable. Surely you’ve heard of our Snappy Meals? Pair any item on our food menu with a plant-based beverage to enjoy happy-making savings.

PLUS, the Exchange Tower will carry two decadent Raw Bars, made by our sweeties at Sweet Hart Kitchen, using pulp from our Deep Roots and Wing Man juices for depth of flavour and nutrition!

Smoothies: Yes! We will be blending up our six Organic Superfood Smoothies and our two smoothie bowls every day, all day. Swing by for a sip.

Bottle Returns:  Most certainly! We will happily accept our recyclable glass bottles at the new Exchange Tower location in exchange for points on our Membership App.

Yesterday it was announced that Tim Hortons would be moving its corporate headquarters from Oakville, Ontario to downtown Toronto. 

They’ll be taking 6,000 square meters of space in the PATH-connected Exchange Tower and moving all 400 employees by the end of this year.

I’m more of a Starbucks coffee drinker, but I am interested in this move. Here’s what their president, Alex Macedo, had to say about it (quote from the Financial Post):

“Consumer trends are changing very fast. We want to remain an innovative company,” he says. “We want to be able to react to guest changing behaviours so we thought being positioned in Toronto would allow us to do that.”

Last week was a doozy! 

We kicked off Monday with a 12 ft. long sweet table for Sloane Capital Corp. for the PCMA event held at the Exchange Tower in downtown Toronto. Our previous table for Sloane Capital Corp. was classy and sophisticated. This time, we aimed to keep it sophisticated but more modern.

With berry tarts, cake pops, macarons, and custom popcorn boxes, chocolate bars, and chocolate cigars, it was a (delicious) smash!

On Wednesday, we shot a new video for our Youtube channel, PetiteandSweetTV, that was tailored for men. Expect alcohol, desserts… and maybe even bacon!

Friday, we had one two events at Holt Renfrew Yorkdale. The first was the launch of a new fragrance by Jo Malone. Silk Blossom is light and refreshing, perfect for the summer months!

On the same day, we created a coffee table floral installation for Edie Parker, composed of peonies and garden roses. The clutches floated above the flowers to create a magical effect.

This week we also launched our partnership with Pusateri's! We'll share more about this very soon. Prepping to deliver to three stores can be a lot of work but with a great team, the job gets done quickly!

We finished the week off with a classic summertime treat. We created a lemonade stand for Oliver Peoples at Holt Renfrew Yorkdale. Who says you're too old for lemonade stands?
