        outside  of  dealing  with  the  boys  of  iridescence,  noel  is  hardly  a  leader.  he’d been  following  eden  around  like  an  obedient  lap  dog   --  fetching  coffee  and  getting  change  for  the  ticket  booths.  co-organizer  is  a  stretch.  really,   eden’s  just  a  good  friend  of  his.  but,   he’s  doing  a  great  job  appearing  official.  clipboard  and  tie  as  if  he  had  any  actual  say  in   all  of  this.   he  doesn’t.  because  of  this,  he’s  been  trying  to  avoid  questions  for  the  entire  day.  like  a  reflex,  the  minute  there’s  a  tap  on  his  shoulder,  noel  says “ i  don’t  know, ”   before  turning  to  see  the  person.  “sorry,  i  mean... what’s   up?”   

he had snuck out of VIP to meet some fans, he wasn’t performing and he wasn’t rehearsing so there was nothing wrong with greeting the crowds of fans...right? well, as always, he was wrong because two security guards were soon behind him as he stood there hugging people and taking photos. the large man pulling him away and escorting him back to the ‘safe’ area. “man i just wanted to go say hi,” he groaned before laughing when he noticed someone watching him get tugged through the barricades.  “you’d think i was performing they’d let me go meet my fans huh?” he joked.

when you were working the event it normally meant you weren’t enjoying it as much as the crowds. but eden loved her job and running around after her artists and making sure that everything was perfect for them was only making her motherly instincts flutter. but she had time to herself, for once, she had nothing left to do so with her pass around her neck the brunette walked out and pass the security guards in hopes to find some good food and a drink.  her eyes falling upon someone familiar and she let out a sigh,  “thank god,” she hummed moving towards them.  “i’ve been trapped back there all day i haven’t seen sunlight,” joked the brunette,  “please tell me you know where food is?”

vanessa had been at the festival all day. she had watched a couple of sets and basically tried to enjoy herself as much as she could, but she was getting antsy. the hotel’s gym was sub-par and she couldn’t get the workout that she craved from it. what she needed was another place to go, preferably one with a punching bag, but just a better equipped gym would have to do. “okay, I know we are here for the festival and could probably get enough of a workout from sweating out there in the sun, but I really want to go to the gym. do you want to come? you know, after I actually find one that has more than a treadmill and five pound weights..” she asked. 

sawyer paced back and forth in the locked bathroom, her heart racing, she was close to being on the verge of tears. when she heard the doorknob turn, she looked, and quickly closed the door behind the other. “you know i came here with a friend, and he ditched me to go have sex with some girl, please don’t leave.” she said whispering the last part. she didn’t notice that she was crying until she felt her face hot and wet with tears. “look at me, hanging in a bathroom at one of the biggest parties of the fall, i could stay right here or disappear and nobody’d even notice at all.” she sighed, “i’m hanging in the bathroom ‘cause my best friend kinda left me alone, and i’d rather fake pee then stand awkwardly or pretend to check a text on my phone.” she begins breathing rapidly, almost to the point of hyperventilating, “i’m waiting it out ‘till it’s time to leave, and picking at grout as i softly grieve. I am hiding but he’s out there just ignoring all our history, memories get erased, and i’ll get replaced with a newer cooler version of me.” she chokes between her sobs, her breathing too rapid. “I half regret the beers.” she says in a futile attempt at making a joke. suddenly she hears banging on the door, banging that’s not actually there, “do you hear that?” knock knock knock knock, “they're gonna start to shout soon!” knock knock knock knock, “oh hell yeah I'll be out soon!” she shouts to no one but the person locked in the bathroom with her. knock knock knock knock, “it sucks he left me here alone,” knock knock knock knock, “here in this battlezone,” clang clang clang clang, “I feel the pressure blowing up,” bang bang bang bang, “my big mistake was showing up.” she goes to the sink splashing water in her face, going to open up the door, but she doesn’t hear the knocking anymore, she looks at herself in the mirror, and then to the person staring dumbfounded. “is there a sadder sight? this is a heinous night, i wish i stayed at the hotel in bed watching cable,” her heartbeat picks up again, “or i wish i offed myself instead wish i was never born. i’m just ‘sawyer who’s a loner, so she must be a stoner’ ‘drives a pt cruiser, god she’s such a loser!’ sawyer flyin’ solo the one they think that they know.” she sinks back down to her spot in the floor, “and all you know about me is my name, awesome party, i’m so glad i came.” she says sobbing quietly to herself now.

elvie wasn’t really sure about dragging lando out to the music festival — especially because neither of them were particularly interested in the whole production — but here they were anyway. “i’m not used to the weather being this warm on halloween,” he complained to his friend, dragging a hand through sweaty, rumpled locks. / @lcndonriv​

“there you are, seesaw!” as if he’d spent no longer than maybe ten whole minutes scanning the huge crowds in search of his friend. cheerfully hal swiped the brunette’s hat right off of her head, humorously pulling a face as he put it on for himself. “been looking everywhere for you.” / @justsawycr
