I woke up way too early from a very complicated dream that’s not worth going into, but the most important point now is that it involved several desserts, and I never got to ‘taste’ the massive chocolate cake with thick chocolate frosting, and chocolate soymilk really isn’t an adequate substitute.
(not that I’d bother trying to buy a slice of cake around here -- the bakeries make a lot of good stuff, but it’s de rigeur to cut costs by using oil instead of butter, and the cake in the dream was very much a butter cake, with frosting of the glorious out-of-the-can texture I loved in middle school.)
