“Blondie.” A terse greeting, at best, this was truly some of his better behaviour when it came to the vampire he was now doomed to share a garage with for the foreseeable future. One afternoon, I’ll give it one afternoon, he’d promised himself. But now as the sun hung behind a low ceiling of clouds around midday, the idea of lasting hours with her seemed ... Unlikely. He doubted they would be the best of friends any time soon, or even in her entire lifetime. But as long as he kept his temper in check, and she didn’t do anything too annoying, they’d likely survive, and that was a good enough bar for him.
Setting down his toolbox ( which he brought only so that he didn’t have to ask her where everything was ), he turned his attention to her project, brown eyes immediately taking in the details. Straight to business, then. "Where’d you find this hunk of junk?”
