[ 9:02 PM // PARTYGIRL!READER'S HOUSE ]
Your hand gripped the red sheets; a bead of sweat traced down your templeβnot from heat, but from effort. The room was cool, almost cold against your flushed skin, but you were working for it. Chasing something that kept slipping away.
You hadn't had sex in a while. Your body was screaming for release.
Your ring and middle fingers pressed against that spongy spot inside, the one that usually did the trick. You worked them in and out, curling on each thrust, trying to find the angle, the rhythm, the something that would tip you over. But it was no use. The sensation was thereβpresent, insistentβbut wrong. Like tickling yourself.
Frustration built in your chest, hot and tight.
Then Matt's face flashed behind your closed eyelids. Matt above you, that concentrated look he got when he was close. The memory arrived uninvited: his cock sliding into you, the stretch and fullness of it, the low groan that rumbled from his chest when you clenched around him.
No. You tried to shove the thought away. You shouldn't be thinking about your ex right now. Not when you were supposed to be moving on.
But your pussy clenched hard around your fingers, a pulse of wet heat flooding through you that made your breath catch. Your body didn't care about pride. It only knew what worked.
The shame of it stungβthat after everything, after all the ways he'd hurt you, Mattβs memory was still the only thing that could get you there. That you were alone in your bed, fucking yourself to the ghost of him.
But god, you were so desperate. Your clit throbbed, neglected and aching. Your thighs trembled.
You surrendered. Let the memory sharpen and expand. Matt's hands gripping your hips, his cock driving deep, the filthy things he'd whisper against your neck. You worked your fingers faster, grinding the heel of your palm against your clit, and clung to that image like a lifeline while you chased the release your body had been denying you.
But it was still no fucking use.
A cry of frustration tore from your throat as you pulled your slick fingers out, your cunt puffy and throbbing and empty. The ache didn't fadeβit only sharpened, spreading through your hips and down your thighs.
You puffed out your cheeks, breathing deep, trying to cool the fever burning under your skin. It didn't work. Your pulse hammered in your ears.
Your phone sat on the nightstand. Right there. Within reach.
Don't.
Your hand moved anyway, fingers trembling as they closed around it. The screen lit up, too bright in the dim room. You scrolled to his name before you could stop yourself, and just seeing itβMatt, with that stupid contact photo where he's making a face at the cameraβmade your heart lurch and your clit pulse again.
Fuck him.
You jabbed his name before you could think about it anymore.
The phone rang. Once. Twice. Your chest rose and fell too fast, breath shallow with nerves and arousal and the creeping certainty that this was a mistake.
Three rings.
"Hello?" His voice crackled through the speaker, low and familiar, and it hit you like a physical thingβa shiver down your spine, heat pooling low in your belly.
"Matt." It came out breathy. Whiny. You tried to control it. but your voice betrayed you.
Silence on the other end. Just for a beat. Thenβ
"Yes, baby?"
The pet name landed like a hand between your legs. Your thighs clenched involuntarily, and you hated him for it. Hated the way he said it, that low purr, taunting and knowing. He knew exactly what he was doing.
"What are you doing right now?" The question left your mouth before you could stop it, and you immediately winced. Stupid. Why were you making small talk?
Matt scoffed. "What d'ya need?"
Straight to it. No pretense. Your cheeks burned.
"Can you come over?" The words scraped out of you, rough and small. Each syllable cost you something.
"Why?" He had an inkling of why. He just wanted to hear you say it.
"Just come over." You snapped.
"I'm not going if you don't tell me why." His voice was casual, almost amused, and that made it worse. He was enjoying this.
"Matt." A warning.
"Y/N." He echoed your tone exactly, mocking.
You went silent. Your free hand twisted in the red sheets, knuckles white. Was this really worth it? Admitting out loud that you couldn't get yourself off without him? That after everythingβafter the breakup, after the hurt, after swearing you were doneβyou still needed him?
He repeated your name again, checking to see if you were still on the line.
"I can't cum without you." The words tumbled out too fast, strung together, desperate and humiliating and true.
A soft laugh on the other end. Not cruel, exactly, but satisfied. "I'll be over soon, baby."
You hung up first, Dropped the phone onto the sheets like it had burned you. Your hand was shaking. Whatever pride you'd had left, you'd just traded it for the promise of relief.
[ 9:16 PM ]
You didn't bother getting dressed. The most you managed was pulling your thong back on.
Ten minutes later, your phone chimed. Matt's text: here.
You tried not to rush to the door. Tried to hold onto whatever dignity remained. But your feet moved faster than you wanted them to.
You pulled the door open. Matt stood on the other side, an amused smirk already playing at his lips. His eyes traveled over your messy hair, down the thin tee clinging to your chestβnipples hard and visible through the fabricβthen landed on the lacy red thong.
He'd clearly been gaming when you called. A backwards cap covered his brown curls, his shirt wrinkled like he'd grabbed the first thing he could find. Sweatpants hung low on his hips, showing the Calvin Klein band of his boxers. The sight of himβcasual, confident, knowing exactly what he did to youβmade heat pool low in your belly all over again.
"Wow, someone's eager," he said, that teasing lilt in his voice.
"Shut up." You gritted your teeth, reached out, and gripped the front of his shirt to yank him inside.
Matt let you drag him in, his smirk widening as he kicked the door shut behind him. His hand came up to cup your cheek, and then his mouth was on yoursβwarm, insistent, familiar. You kissed him back without hesitation, your body remembering what your mind tried to forget.
His tongue slid across your bottom lip. You parted for him immediately, and he groaned into your mouth when your tongues met.
His hand settled on your waist, gripping the soft flesh there. The heat of his palm against your bare skin made you shiver. His other hand tangled into your hair and tugged sharply at the roots, coaxing a moan from your throat.
No words. Just his hands guiding you backward to the couch, pushing your hips down against the cushions.
Your pussy ached so badly you wanted to skip everything and just have him make you cum already. You were dripping, thighs slick with it.
Matt knelt in front of you, trailing kisses from your lips down your jaw to your neck. Your scent hit him hard, and his cock twitched in response. The tiny whimpers you let out each time he used his teeth made him want to hear more.
Normally he'd take his time. Worship those perky tits, suck on your nipples until you were squirming. But you were radiating need, and he could feel it coming off you in waves. He'd give you relief. Eventually. But he'd never seen you this desperate before, and part of him wanted to drag it out. Wanted to see how far he could push you before you broke.
He gripped one of your thighs and pressed it back, opening you wider. He pulled back just enough to take you inβflushed cheeks, pouty lips parted with shallow breaths, the way your brows furrowed in frustration. You looked fucking delicious; his mouth watered.
He tugged your thong down just enough to expose the top of your pussy, then lowered his head. But instead of giving you what you wanted, he licked a slow stripe up your stomach, tasting salt and skin.
You let out a frustrated whimper, and the sound went straight to his dick. He wanted to draw more of those little noises out of you; watch the way your face contorts with pleasure.
"Oh, baby," he murmured against your skin, voice dripping with mock sympathy.
You could feel yourself unraveling. You'd been edged for an hour, every nerve ending on fire, aching for contact. You wanted to shove his face exactly where you needed himβbut you also wanted to watch him eat you out with that backwards hat on. A fantasy you'd had about him so many times.
He felt the way you twitched in his hands, every muscle begging.
He trailed kisses over your belly button, pausing right above where he'd pulled your thong down.
"You want me to make you cum so bad, huh, baby?" His breath hit the wet heat between your thighs. He dragged one finger slowly down the center of your cunt, pulling your thong along with it.
The tiny touch felt so good a whimper slipped from your lips, and you hated how pathetic it made you feel.
Matt looked up at you, amusement dancing in his eyes. "Use your words, sweetheart. Tell me you want this."
The words stuck in your throat. You'd already reached your limit of sounding desperate.
"Just do something!" It came out whiny, and you hated it.
Matt retaliated immediately, pinching the flesh of your thigh hard enough to sting. "Try again. I'm doing you a favor."
You reined in your voice, though your eyes shot daggers at him. "Yes. I want this."
"Please," he added, expectant.
Your face scrunched up. Was he serious? You'd never begged him for anything.
He saw the look and read you easily. Your face always gave you away.
"It's usually what people say when someone's doing them a favor," he said, condescending.
You wanted to smack him. But if you did, he'd leave you aching.
"Please." Through gritted teeth.
The way you said it didn't satisfy him. He wanted you needy and squirming, wanted to break that control you were clinging to.
He shook his head but dove in anyway, lips latching right onto your clit and sucking hard enough to give you a taste of relief.
The moment he made contact, your thighs tensed around his head and a long gasp tore from your lungs.
He clamped both hands onto your thighs to hold you still as you squirmed. You always tasted so fucking good. Even though he wanted to drag out the teasing, wanted to hear you cry when you finally broke, he couldn't help himselfβhe dragged his tongue between your folds, licking up every drop, not letting anything go to waste.
His scruff scratched against the sensitive skin, adding friction that made you keen.
He parted his lips to dip his tongue into you once, swirling inside before focusing on your clit again.
He didn't question why you'd called him specifically. He knew why. Nobody else could satisfy you the way he did.
He bit down slightly on the swollen bud, and your hips jerked under him. Your hand flew to the top of his head, trying to push him off.
"What the fuck?" you scolded.
He detached his lips briefly. "Tyler couldn't make you feel this way, huh?" The name came out rough, possessive. He'd seen your Instagram storiesβknew you'd been out with that guy more frequently now. The thought of someone else touching you made his jaw clench.
This time he went all inβused two fingers to spread you wider and fucked into you shallowly with his tongue while his nose nudged against your clit.
He groaned when your wetness coated his tongue. He could do this all fucking day.
Your thighs clenched around his head, the brim of his hat biting into your leg.
"Fuck, Matt." Your hips rocked against his face, chasing more friction against your clit while his tongue pressed into you.
He hummed, and the vibrations shot straight through your cunt.
He pulled his tongue out to lap at your clit over and over, the right amount of pressure to make it twitch.
He used that jealousy to fuel him, face pressing against your pussy, tongue working roughly so you could feel every groove on it.
Your back arched, you didn't even try to hold back your whimpers and moans.
The sounds of his mouth filled the quiet room, wet and obscene. He didn't let up one bit when your back arched, trying to relieve the overwhelming pleasure you were feeling. His mouth chased your pussy, staying latched onto it, skillfully licking you up.
"Matt." You mewled, the heat in your lower stomach growing more intense with each relentless lick.
He kept going, pushing you towards the edge, wanting to feel your thighs tremble around his head. His face grew slick.
The feeling in your stomach grew sharp, your orgasm crashing through before you could even grasp that you were cumming. A sharp cry ripped from your throat, making Matt groan, vibrating right against your clit. Your thighs trembled, pressing right against his head.
He loved the way it felt like you were suffocating him, forcing him to suck in air, sending new sensations through your pussy.
Your hips twitched and jerked against his face. He didn't pull away, drawing out every last shiver and noise from you.
When you finally calmed down to pants and stopped squirming, he resurfaced, leaving sweet kisses on your inner thighs.
You looked down at him, your face flushed, hair wild.
His hat was slightly askew now, face slick from your cunt. He licked his lips, not wanting the taste of you to go away just yet.
He released your thighsβred handprints blooming from how hard he was gripping youβand replaced them on your waist, hands rubbing soothingly up and down your sides.
"You still taste really fucking good." He rasped, eyes locked on your face.
You reached down and tenderly gripped his glistening chin, swiping your thumb over his bottom lip. "You got something there."

You've been in Boston for a few days now, spending most of your time hanging out with Nick or the boys' mom. You and Matt had given each other some space during those days. He was either hanging out with his brothers, his friends, or his parents. You kept it very cordial between the two of you. Your words and conversations were short with forced politeness. But your looks lingered whenever you thought the other wasn't looking. Matt definitely noticed you wearing his old t-shirt to bed every single night. It felt kind of unfair to him. That you were keeping up this awkward space between you two, yet you were dressed in his clothes, the way he liked it. You acted like a stranger, but you didn't look like one. You were far from one.
He wasnβt helping his case either. He was also keeping his distance, mostly trying to prioritize the space that you wanted. He was more upset because he thought after that conversation you had outside the bathroom, about how you two were going to talk, you would stop with the pretendingβpretending like none of this was happening between you two.
You were now hanging out in Nick's room with him and his mom. You and Nick were both getting ready to go out with his friends, his mom being there to both help you get dressed and listen to you rant about her son. She was on your side all of the time. But she also kept it real with you.
She was always in your corner, no matter what. You and her have sat down and had many serious talks about your relationship with Matt since you two started dating. Matt was far from abusive, but as a woman, you could never be too careful. She had told you countless of times that if things ever got to that point or if he messed up in anyway, you could always come to her and she would help you out no matter the circumstances. And she meant it, wholeheartedly. He may be her son, but she was always willing to look out for you.
It was nice knowing that she would be there for you in that way. So, anytime Matt would do something that you didnβt appreciate, you didnβt hesitate to go to his mom about it. You were that comfortable with her. And she was always there to give you the advice you needed to hear. Matt would sometimes get pissed off that you βtattledβ on him to his mom. Even so, his behavior would change.
You observed your outfit in Nick's mirror, gold bangles jingling together as you tugged on the white tank top, 'Bebe' bedazzled onto your chest. "He's just been acting so weird after that whole thing happened the first night here. I thought we were supposed to talk about things."
You noticed that Matt had been keeping you at arms length and it irked you. Yes, you were kind of trying to avoid him too. You just werenβt sure where you stood with him now or how you were supposed to go about things, and it made you a little awkward.
In the past, you wouldβve already been back together by now. Heβd pop up right back into your life, leaning in close and letting his cologne devour all of your senses and rational thoughts while he told you the things you wanted to hear. Then youβd be right back in his grip, him kissing you while you tried your best not to fold.
Nick's mom sat on his bed, looking at you in the mirror with a soft smile. She always adored you. And she adored you even more when you were here, in her house, including her in the gossip while getting ready with her. She loved having these little moments with you since you came into her life, and the feelings were reciprocated. You were the daughter she never knew she wanted.
"I think he's just been trying to give you some space, honey. Let both of you get into a better headspace." She rationalized. And it made sense to you. It always made sense coming from her. Probably because you actually listened to her more than you did with Matt.
Matt picked up on that quick and anytime you two were having a moment or you did something to piss him off, he would call or text his mom to tell her about it. Because she was always on your side, she often asked him what he did to provoke it. It frustrated him sometimes but it also made him realize that he was acting out of line during those moments.
Nick clapped his hands in agreement. "Yeah, we know how hot-headed you two are. This whole house might blow up if you two get into a fight." Nick was dressed in a black t-shirt and his fun shorts with all his accessories hanging off of them. He had asked you to do some light makeup on him while getting ready to go out.
Nick loved it whenever you did his makeup, you hyped him up every single time. His favorite was the highlighter you would put on him, his cheekbones glimmering in pictures whenever the flash hit it just right.
You shot Nick a look. "You're one to talk about being hot-headed. You scream at anyone for anything. In fact, the whole house already blew up the other day because someone asked you a stupid question."
Nick's mouth flew open at your retort while his mom let out a hearty laugh.
"Don't act like you wouldn't do the same if someone asked you a dumbass question."
His mom got up from the bed, walking over to where you two were standing and patting you both on the shoulder. "Remember that you love each other." She joked, like she was trying to mediate a fight between two siblings. "Have fun tonight, be safe, and call me if you need anything." She gave you both a kiss on the cheek before walking out of the room.
You both mumbled a βgoodnight, love youβ before she disappeared.
You picked up your purse, making sure you had everything you needed inside. The most essential thing being your digital camera that had captured so many of your important memories.
βYou ready? Our ride is here.β Nick picked up his own bag as well.
βObviously Iβm ready.β You bounced on your feet, feeling very excited.
Nick gave you a funny look. βAlright, donβt piss your pants over it. A night out in Boston is nothing like LA.β
βNo shit. Iβve been out in both cities plenty of times.β You patted Nickβs shoulder. βThank you, my lovely tour guide for showing me all the ways. Even the alley where drunk people go to hook up.β
βUgh,β Nick shuddered at the memory, βthat was not on purpose. I genuinely didnβt even know that was there.β
Nick lead the way out of the room but stopped short. βOh my god what the hell do you two want?β
You peeked your head out of his room, curious to see what had him so irritated.
Matt and Chris were both moving towards Nickβs room. The flannel jacket Matt had wrapped you up in countless of times was spread over his shoulders, zipped up to the middle of his chest. The first thought you had was that he looked hot; the second thought you had was that he looked hot. Why would anyone wear a heavy flannel jacket in the middle of summer?
Matt stopped directly in front of you. Nick tried to position himself between the two of you, a protective stance taking over.
Mattβs gaze traveled over your outfit, unashamed and a little hungry. His pupils dilated when his eyes caught on your thighs, the cutoff shirts giving him plenty of surface area to look at. If you were still together, heβd already make a comment about the shorts, or the way your tank top fit you so perfectly, he couldnβt imagine it on anyone else. You kept your eyes focused on his head, trying not to look at him. But that wasnβt a good choice either because he had his hat on backwards. Every time he did that, all you wanted to do was scream the word slut. You didnβt know the science behind why men got ten times hotter whenever they flipped their hat backwards, but it needed to be studied. It had such a universal effect.
βWhat do you two want?β Nick asked, his eyes moving between his two brothers suspiciously.
Matt tore his gaze away from you. βCan I ruin your plans tonight? Thereβs something I wantβ¦ or need to do.β
Nick scoffed, crossing his arms impatiently. βSeriously? Your timing is so shit! You literally chose to do this while our ride is literally outside?β
Matt glanced at you fleetingly before returning his focus to Nick. βPlease? Itβs important.β
Nick gasped. βPlease?β He repeated. βOkay, wow. This must really be important if your bitch ass is saying please.β
Both his brothers rolled their eyes at his theatrics.
Mattβs attention returned to you as he spoke. βCan I take you out tonight? We donβt have to do anything. I mostly just want to talk.β He paused, actually looking nervous. βAnd I think we need to talk.β
It was very rare that you witnessed Matt feeling uncomfortable with his emotions. He was the most in tune with his feelings. Seeing how nervous he was softened you up a bit. That look he had on his face, him dressed like that, you were no doubt going to give in.
You wondered if he wore the hat on purpose, trying to derail you. All you could think about right now is how hot his face would look, with that hat on, right between your thighs. Or pressing you against the wall, turning his hat backwards so he can kiss you harder. All things holy and clean left the room.
βWhat?β Nick exclaimed. βWhoβs supposed to go out with me now? Why didnβt you ask her earlier?β
Chris jumped in, wrapping an arm around Nickβs shoulders and squeezing him in close. βI figured we could have a grand time together tonight. You, me, our friends that we havenβt seen in so long.β He smiled sheepishly.
Had they seriously been plotting this? You imagined Matt asking Chris for help on how to get you alone with him tonight, and it was kind of cute.
Nick gave both of his brothers an irritated look which then changed into a concerned one when looking at you.
βDonβt worry about it.β You spoke before Nick could say anything. βYou and Chris go ahead. Iβll be fine.β You waved a hand at both of the dismissively. βDonβt get Chris too drunk.β
Chris pumped his chest. βI can handle my liquor.β
You tilted your head. βTell that to my fucking coffee table you broke last month.β
His bravado went away immediately. The sheepish smile returning to his face. βIβll make sure Nick has plenty of fun tonight.β He shook Nickβs shoulders.
The two of them started making their way out, leaving you and Matt.
βDonβt kill each other!β Nick added over his shoulder.
Matt waited till he heard the car pull out of the driveway before he spoke. βFirst, you needa change.β
You looked down at your outfit, feeling a little sad you didnβt get the occasion to wear it out. βWhatβs wrong with my outfit?β
Matt placed his hands on your hips, guiding you backwards into Nickβs room. To hell with space, heβd given you plenty and heβd spent way too long not feeling you under his hands. βIt ainβt suitable for a walk in the park.β
You didnβt push his hands off. You didnβt want to. You liked the feeling of him on you. Even if it were just his pinkie finger brushing past your skin, youβd still crave it.
βWeβre going to a park?β You deadpan, looking up at him.
The corner of his mouth lifted in amusement. βDonβt act so excited. Might hurt yourself.β
He removed his hands, giving you space to change. You bent over into your suitcase, grabbing a different outfit. βYou really fucked up my plans with Nick to take me to a fucking park? At night too?β You straightened up, clutching the sweatshirt and shorts in hour hand, facing Matt.
He wasnβt looking at your face. He was sat on Nickβs bed, leaning back onto his hands, eyes completely glued to your ass and thighs. He was entranced and didnβt even try to hide it.
He actually had to swallow hard, his mouth beginning to water. It made him feel ridiculous, how desperate he was for you.
You bent down a little, trying to catch his eyes. βHello? Paging, Matthew Sturniolo.β You called out, attempting to bring his attention back.
He lifted his eyes to you, meeting your unamused look. βSorry.β He panted, shaking out of his thoughts and trying to think of something else to prevent the boner he felt coming on. βWhatβs wrong with the park at night? Everything is so much more peaceful at night.β
You toed off the boots you were wearing. βYou know what happens to women at parks at night?β You paused, holding a finger up. βActually, you know what happens to women at parks at night when thereβs men?β
He snorted, mouth slipping into a half smile. βI had and still have zero intention of committing any physical harm to you, pretty girl.β He brought a hand up to scratch his beard. βAnd you never worry about that stuff when youβre out late at parties.β
βPfft,β You huffed. βNot my point. And Iβm with friendsβ
The smile grew on his face. βAnd you kinda turn into a beast when youβre drunk. I remember when you cussed out some guy so bad he actually stood facing the corner the rest of the night. Unfortunately, Iβm not excluded from that line of fire.β
βYes, thank you.β You grinned.
βWasnβt a compliment.β
βSounded like you were admiring, actually.β
βNo, I wasnβt.β He said, still smiling at you.
βWhatever, just get out so I can change.β You pointed at the door.
Matt made no move to leave. He just tilted his head to the side, pushing his bottom lip out in an exaggerated pout. βI donβt get to watch? Donβt get shy on me now.β
You clutched your clothes to your chest like you were already exposed. βWhat? No!β You stammered.
Together or not, him being in the same room as you while you changed would just make you feel so flustered. He never could keep his eyesβor handsβoff of you. You were supposed to be putting up more of a fight, not letting him dig his way back into your life so easily.
He let out a small laugh and stood up from the bed. He was loving this. Loving the banter between you too. Everything almost felt normal again. Him getting under your skin just to see that pissed off look on your face, then making it go away. He went fucking feral for it.
βI was just teasinβ ya.β He muttered before walking out, giving you a final look.
You gave your party outfit one last, sad, look in the mirror. Then you peeled it off before slipping into a more comfortable pair of shorts and a sweatshirt. Yeah, you judged Matt for wearing his heavy ass jacket, but you weren't used to Boston weather, that was your excuse. You slid your feet into your sandals and picked up your purse again, you didnβt bother going through it to leave stuff at home. And who knows, maybe youβll need a long hit of your vape after a night with Matt.
You emerged from Nickβs room, Matt lingering outside, his head curved over his phone.
βReady?β He asked, lifting his head up and sliding his phone into his pocket.
You nodded in response, following him out to the car.
β γ»γ»γ»γ»γ»γ»β
Prior to arriving at the park, Nick spammed your phone with messages. Most of them are discussing an escape plan with you. The others are encouraging you to talk to Matt.
Matt pulled into a parking spot, the streetlights of the park illuminating the darkness, making this all seem like a secret rendezvous.
He turned to you after shutting the engine off. "We're here."
You shot him a look. "Yeah, bitch, I can see."
He just smiled at that. Even if it was a smartass comment from you, he at it the fuck up. He especially loved it when he was the one to shut you up, your quips dwindling down to just little tiny whimpers. Fuck, he was obsessed.
"And I think we should turn our phones off while we're here."
You gave him a suspicious look. "Why? Should I be searching you for any weapons?"
He sucked on his teeth, trying to control the smile threatening to break out on his face. "I'm not trying to murder you, I swear. Jus wanna experience some actual human connection with you." His eyes dropped down to your hands, gold rings snug and stacked on each finger, "But if you wanna search me, you have my full permission. Get into every crevice if ya need to." His mind wandered to those hands, gliding across his warm skin, your rings doing nothing to cool it down, having the opposite effect.
Your face twisted up. "You're so gross."
He was seriously testing your self-control. The movement of his tongue drew your eyes to his mouth. He knew you were looking, this fucking asshole. It was getting harder for you to stay composed with each look he gave you. You knew that if he could, he would keep going until you were squirming in your seat.
He took his seatbelt off; you mirrored his actions. He twisted in his seat to face you, resting his arm on the steering wheel. "I know that's a fucking lie. You used to never look disgusted with your hands wrapped 'round my dick."
He was getting off track now. He didn't bring you here to try and do anything else but talk. But the visible blush on your cheeks and the effort to keep your breathing even were spurring him on. He wanted to keep pushing, see how far he had to go until those fucking hands were scrambling towards him.
Your lips parted in shock at the audacity of him. The way he could just dismantle your thoughts with one look and then scramble them with his words. You hated the way you had to grip the side of the door, your hands actually itching for him. You had no coherent words or thoughts.
He sat back, looking like a wolf that had just successfully cornered its prey. "C'mon. Let's take a walk." He opened the door, acting as if he didn't just do all of that. With a backwards hat on too, it was completely irritating.
He was absolutely relishing every second of your flustered state. How quickly you went from being mouthy to completely silent. He was having a fucking time.
You got out of the car after him, hearing the lock click seconds after you shut the door. You rounded to the front of the car where he was waiting, your legs feeling dangerously shaky.
"Phones off." He reminded, shutting his own down.
You pulled yours out, sending a quick text to Nick and Chris to not worry about you and that you wouldn't be answering for a while. You powered yours down, too, shoving it back into the abyss of your purse.
Your head swiveled around, taking in your surroundings. "Ominous as hell." You commented, looking back to Matt.
"Don't worry. The scariest thing you're going to see here is a dead bug." He nodded his head towards the trail ahead. "C'mon."
"The scariest thing I'm seeing right now is you." You walked beside him, keeping a leisurely pace.
He chuckled at that, looking over at you. "I thought you weren't scared of anything?"
You threw your head back with an exasperated sigh. "Don't take shit so literally."
You both walked in silence for a few moments, taking in the scenery of the park at night. It was actually peaceful like this. Just you and nature, no notifications blowing up your phone. You always felt comforted in the presence of Matt. It was easy for you to forget that; you felt like your mind was always full of how to curate a way to share your life with your thousands of followers. It wasn't about trying to create this image that your life was perfect all the time, it was just something you enjoyed, being able to update your friends on everything you were doing.
While Matt was used to sharing snippets of his life with the internet and strangers knowing things about him, he always preferred to be in the present of it all. Your favorite memory with him was when you took a midnight hike on the Griffith Observatory Trails. You got up there in time to see the city lights turn on. He tried to keep you off your phone the whole time, and you really appreciated it. You were actually in the moment when you watched the city you grew up in come to life. It made you nostalgic, how you missed this opportunity one too many times because you were just trying to capture the picture right.
You both were a bit of a victim to the worldwide system. But it was those quiet, unplugged moments that made you realize you found your sweet escape when alone with each other.
"You can ask me anything, ya know? I do want to clear the shit up between us." Matt finally broke the silence.
A million questions flooded to the front; your mouth was not catching up with your brain. "The girls." You blurted out the most pressing question.
Matt nodded, shoving his hands into his shorts pockets. He expected that to be the first thing you brought up. It was a sick routine he had every time you two broke up. He'd try to show up wherever you were, but with another girl on his arm. It was completely to piss you off. He was never interested in anyone but you. And he found it so hot seeing you struggle to contain your jealousy. He wanted to be branded by you in any way possible.
In a twisted way, he loved the high he got from flirting with other girls. He was completely loyal to you when you were together. But whenever you weren't, he'd have someone perched on his lap doing all the talking for him. But he'd always be thinking about you. How you'd fight back, challenge him, never making it easy for him.
"They're not important to me." He stated truthfully.
"Not important to you?" You repeated, halting your steps to face him. "Then why do you keep doing it? Do they know that?"
He looked back at you, confused. "What do you mean, do they know that? Of course, some of them don't realize that they don't have a chance. They never do because it's always going to be you."
You didn't even care about the last words he said, your anger starting to surface. "So you don't tell them that? You lead these girls on and let them believe that you actually like them?"
He was amazed at how easily you defended those other girls. Yeah, you did get jealous, but you never brought other women down over it. He was used to it with you, but in the bigger picture, it was unusual.
He huffed out a laugh, which earned a sharp look from you. He was supposed to be serious. "That's what you're mad about? That I'm leading people on?"
You smacked his arm, like that was the most obvious thing he could have said. "Fucking duh! It's so icky to do that. How would your mother feel knowing this?"
He had to bite back a smile at the smack. "My mother would be very disappointed in me, so don't tell her. I know you're quick with that." He teased. "And I won't ever do that again."
"Good."
It didn't do anything to settle your anger about those girls being led on. But it was already done, and you couldn't go back and change it. You felt really bad for them and were tempted to smack him on the head. His mom had raised him better, and he'd heard it countless times from you already how disgusting it was. That was what you appreciated least about him doing this, trying to diminish the worth of these girls.
"Is that all you had to say about that?" He tilted his head down towards you. "It didn't bother you that I was with other girls?"
He was trying to see if you would take the bait and fight him on it now. He wanted to hear that you still wanted him as much as he wanted you.
You narrowed your eyes at him. "What do you think?"
"I want to hear you say it."
You gave a slow shake of your head. "Aren't we supposed to be asking each other questions? Isn't it your turn now?"
"Okay." He grinned. "How did it make you feel seeing me with other girls?"
You gave him an unimpressed look at his attempt to stay on the topic. He knew how you felt. How you wanted it to be you. But you weren't going to give him the satisfaction of admitting it.
He caught the look on your face. "Okay, fine. I'm going to ask about the condom, and I want you to be honest with me."
You chewed on the inside of your mouth, preparing to tell him everything. "You can't get mad at me because we are technically broken up."
He huffed. "I'm going to get mad anyway."
You figured he would, you just needed to remind him that what you did wasn't wrong. "I was trying to hook up with some guy in my car." You said quietly, actually feeling a bit of shame.
His face hardened, blank and cold. You knew he was fighting back a million arguments and curses. "Trying to?" He tried to keep his voice steady, fighting off the image of you pressed against the back seat of your carβyour lips parted and letting out little puffs of airβthe same reaction he would get whenever he would slide his tongue across your sweet skin.
You saw the sudden flash of intensity in his eyes, and you could almost see his thoughts playing out. Your fingers latched onto one of your rings, twisting it around. "We didn't get anywhere. My chin was wet before my shoes could even come off." You admitted.
An amused breath escaped him. "You got the ick then?"
He felt a little triumphant with that information you provided. He let himself get cocky because nobody else could kiss you like he could. Nobody else could worship your candy-like lips like he could, sucking and pressing his own lips to them just right.
You nodded. "I pretended like I had an emergency call and told him to get out of my car."
It was a bit awkward recounting that night. The whole event itself was awkward. You hoped you never had to retell it. But, of course, it had to come out to Matt eventually. You weren't sure if he was going to be upset at the fact that you were with another guy, or find it funny that the guy couldn't even make it far.
He slipped out of his dark mood into a more amused one. "Was it the coworker guy, or some random?"
"Not the coworker, he actually is just a friend. But not some random either."
"So you know this guy?" He asked, fixing you with a hard stare.
You continued twisting the ring on your finger, focusing your gaze anywhere but him. "I don't, like, know him, know him. Friend of a friend type shit."
"Was it planned?"
You lifted your eyes to him briefly, catching the hard look on his face, then your eyes dropped back down to your rings. "Nobody fucking plans to hook up in the car."
He gave a slow movement of his head, up and down. "Spontaneous is more your thing." He paused, dissecting the confession. "How'd it lead up to that?"
Part of him knew it would actually make him shake with anger and jealousy, hearing how you ended up with this guy in your car. But the other part wanted to know if it was a mindless choice, heightened by whatever environment you were in.
You lifted a hand and twisted a strand of your hair around your finger, observing your split ends. "I was at a friend's house, and there were a lot of people there. Chill hang out. He started flirting with me, and I flirted back and... yeah."
"Huh, so you thought he was cute." He vocalized his thoughts. He absolutely didn't want to think about your nails trailing down another guy's arms. Or the way you probably looked up at him with your pouty lips and feathery lashes. His hand curled into a fist in his pocket.
You lifted a shoulder, still checking for split ends. "He wasn't, like, bad."
What you weren't saying, and you weren't going to, was that he wasn't Matt. The top ten hottest guys in the world could throw themselves at you, and you would still fucking choose Matt.
Matt knew you had every right to find whoever you wanted attractive. But it panicked him a little, the thought of someone you found attractive coming to sweep you away from him. But he was cocky enough to know that would never realistically happen. He'd know exactly how to get you back. It was a dance you both did so many times that he could do it with his eyes closed.
He cleared his throat, attempting to clear his thoughts. "So, that answers the whole condom shit. I'll admit, I'm fucking relieved you didn't fuck him." He tried to look at the silver lining of it all. He kind of felt bad for the guy, not getting a chance to experience and worship the body he would get on his fucking hands and knees for.
You finally looked up at him, dropping the piece of your hair you were playing with. "Yeah, you probably would've accused me of cheating and ran with it." It was a passive-aggressive jab to the bullshit song he played after finding the condom.
His gaze sharpened on you. "And how would you have reacted if you found underwear in my car?"
You sucked in a breath; you should have expected him to fire back. "I'd hope whatever baddie it belonged to wasn't missing it."
He rolled his eyes at you. "Be fucking serious, please."
"Okay, yeah, I wouldn't be happy either and maybe feel betrayed." You stumbled over your words a little, hating that you were disclosing this to him.
He had to force his mouth into a flat line, trying not to smile. "Just say you'd be jealous. Then you'd freak out on me until I fucked you and made it all better."
His eyes zeroed in on your face, watching for the reaction he wanted. You felt the heat from his words travelling all over your body, starting at the tips of your fingers and washing all throughout, reaching your cheeks and tinting them pink.
God, those pink fucking cheeks. He just wanted to hold them in his hands while he said even more words to you, turning them even more pink, feeling them grow hot in his hands.
You had to look away, the moment turning far too intense for you. "How do you know these girls anyway?"
"Also friends of friends. I don't go for anyone I'm going to see again." Yeah, he was absolutely drinking this shit up now. It wasn't going to be long until one of you was crawling to the other, begging for some relief. If he just kept on pressing the right buttons, you'd be cumming on his hand soon.
"Ugh, that's so... typical of men. Do you have no remorse? You seriously plan this shit every time we break up?"
You hated knowing this information about him. If the girls had known he'd never contact them again, maybe you wouldn't be so upset. You actually hoped some of them made him feel like a fucking idiot for it.
Hearing it from you, he actually did feel like a dick for it. He wanted to wipe that look of disgust from your face. It admittedly made him feel a little sick. "Don't look at me like that, please. I can'tβ"
You looked at him, your lips curled with distaste. "Answer my fucking questions."
His eyebrows scrunched up at the look on your face. "No, I don't plan it. It's just... makes me miss you a little less."
"Your communication is fucked."
He would rather try not to think of you, than grovel over you. You couldn't really blame him, because you did the same. It was like you went to war; who would break first?
"That's kind of our thing, sweetheart." He gave you a wry smile.
You sighed, knowing he was right. Both of you were too stubborn to really tell the other how it really is. You much preferred provoking each other, pushing each other to the breaking point.
"And, I regret every fucking thing I said to you, about you not becoming successful. It was a dick move. You're doing fucking amazing for yourself." He added after a beat of silence.
It was what you wanted to hear. That he wished he could eat up those words he spat at you. But there still wasn't an apology there and you weren't going to beg him for one.
"I love you, you know? So much. I wish I could take back everything I said that night. Maybe we wouldn't be here if I hadn't judged you so hard." He needed to say those words; they had been trapped in his brain for months. Each time you would walk past him and give him a dismissive look was like a knife to the gut.
It was an unwanted feeling for both of you. Passing each other without even saying a word, even though you knew every fucking thing about each other.
"Yeah, maybe." You said, voice softer now. Your brain was stuck on the words he hadn't uttered in so long. The soft way he was saying it, you just wanted to crawl into his lap and let him hold you while he peppered kisses against your shoulder.
"We still mad at each other, or are you finally going to stop treating me like a stranger?"
You breathed out, actually feeling some of the tension leaving your shoulders. "I think you can upgrade from bitchass ex-boyfriend to just ex-boyfriend now."
He felt actual relief washing over him at your snarky tone. You both were back on track now, moving away from that uncharted territory. "Wow, a promotion." He quipped, reaching out to brush some of your hair from your shoulder, just wanting some contact with you.
"So, what now?" You asked, letting his touch linger and drinking it in.

[ 011:40 PM // LOCATION: MATT'S CAR ]
You and the triplets got back from Boston a few days ago. Things have been smooth sailing between you and Matt since that night in the park. The two of you were able to hang out alone without going at each other's throats since then.
Although, you were getting back into your old, dangerous ways. Not really back together, but not really exes either. No matter how much you told yourself you weren't going to do this, take him back so easily, drunk you apparently couldn't help yourself.
You had texted him a few nights ago while you were out with your friends, professing your attraction to him. He was used to it, though. You had a habit of scrolling through pictures of him whenever you were drunk and thinking about him, your jumbled texts pinging over and over in his phone. He would intentionally stay up on nights he knew you were out, anticipating your texts so he would know to go pick you up.
He didn't stay up because he thought you couldn't handle yourself. You could look after yourself during and after a night out, and after many fights, Matt learned that too. The fights between you two mostly landed when it got inconvenient for him to go pick you up from whatever bar or club you were at. Luckily, he had spent that night messing around on video games and watching your location.
It's not like he didn't know that you found him attractive, orβin your own wordsβhot. But it was still mortifying to wake up the next morning, thinking you had the best slumber of your life, just for Matt to ruin the moment of peace with multiple videos of you being drunk and all over him. Also, something Matt was used to. Anytime he pulled up in his car, you'd come stumbling out, squealing with excitement to see him and launching yourself into his arms.
One of the videos, which he's mentioned as his favorite one, was the camera pointed right at his face while he was trying to drive, but your hands were rubbing all over his skin and you could hear yourself babbling about how attracted you were to him. The part that made you cringe was when you tried to shove your fingers in his mouth because you wanted to be closer. He just smiled the entire time, kissing and playfully biting your fingers.
God forbid a girl appreciate her boyfriend... or ex.
You asked him to delete every video or picture he had of you because you were actually embarrassed. You being caught on camera folding over a man could not be spread around, it would do serious damage to your reputation. As expected, he refused, but promised to not use them for blackmail. He just thought they were cute. How desperate you were to be near him, wanting to climb into his skin. Your words, verbatim.
[ 08:54 PM // LOCATION: MATT'S HOUSE ]
Between that night and now, you and Matt had hung out or seen each other casually, going with him on some outings, hanging out whenever Nick brought you over. Nothing really more or less happened; not unexpectedly, this was a familiar play with you two. You fight, you break up, fight some more, sort of make up, then it ends with sex. Electrifying and intoxicating sex. It was why the two of you could never stay away for too long. Nobody else could provide either of you with the same amount of chemistry. To Matt, not a damn thing compared to you.
Today, Matt called to ask if you could bring him some In-N-Out; he was hungry and didn't want to pay the absurd DoorDash fees. Chris didn't want to get up off his own ass, and Nick was at a friend's house. So that left you to be his own personal DoorDasher. He knew that at this point of the 'sort of make up' stage, you weren't going to say no. Although, you would put up a bit of a fight.
To no surprise, you answered his call with a string of curses that only made him snicker. He didn't need to do a lot of convincing anyway, you were already thinking about getting food, not eating since you got back home from the office.
You were at his house in no time, the bag of In-N-Out in one hand and your vape in the other. You had back-to-back events coming up and needed to run heavy advertising to drive internet traffic in the next week. It stressed you out enough that the first thing you grabbed when you got the call from Matt wasn't your car keys, but your vape, buried in the bottomless pit that was your purse.
Matt was locked in on his game when you shoved into his room. His fingers moved quick on the keyboard, profanities falling from his mouth with each breath. He always got so ridiculously competitive with his games. You could never understand why, it was literally just a game. He mentioned something about making it in the top ten of whatever he was playing over the phone, his reasoning for why he couldn't take a few minutes to go get his own damn food.
You walked up next to him, conscious not to disturb him, or he would be in a bad mood the rest of the night if one thing went wrong. You set the bag down on the table and pulled out his fries and burgers that he asked for. Yet he didn't even bat an eye at it, or you, for the matter.
"Thanks." He mumbled, completely focused on his stupid game.
You shot him an annoyed look that he couldnβt see since he didnβt even bother turning his head thirty degrees to even identify the other person in his room.
"You're welcome, dick face." You said, grabbing your own animal-style fries and a fork from the bag, quickly making yourself comfortable on his bed.
You took a long hit of your vape, sucking in the minty cloud and letting it sit in your lungs, waiting for that lightheaded feeling the nicotine gave you before exhaling. It was fleeting, but it helped you relax a little. It was not a healthy way to cope by any means, but the hand to mouth fixation paired with your growing addiction, you couldnβt bother finding another way to deal with stress.
The smell, combined with the small cloud you exhaled towards him, made Matt turn his head, but he didn't look at you for long, turning back to his game and shouting out a loud curse. "Long day?" He asked you, truly concerned.
You were more of a social smoker. A telltale sign that you were going through it was when you had a vape glued to your hand, especially when you didnβt even put it down to eat. His thoughts shifted from the game to you, how he could help you get your mind off of whatever was bothering you.
You kicked your socked feet up onto his bed, leaning against the headboard and lazily scooped the In-N-Out fries into your mouth. "Very. Then I had to get up and get your dick face some food." You fussed, stomach clenching with hunger.
You had to give yourself a bath after your day at work, loosening up your tense muscles. Food was the last thing on your mind. Up until your stomach was rumbling for it.
"If you think I'm such a dickface, why don't you shut up and fucking ride it?" He didn't even flinch when saying it, going right back to chewing out whoever was causing him damage in the game. "Fucking idiot!" He yelled to the screen, fingers scrambling.
You wrinkled your nose at him, shoveling more fries into your mouth. "I hate the person you turn into when you get an animated weapon." You weren't sure if he said it consciously or if he was just yelling out whatever came to his mind first in frustration with the game.
He hardly acknowledged the conversation, nodding his head to his food. "Can you feed me some fries?"
It was a conscious ask, a reason to have you nearby. While you pretended to hate his video games most of the time. There were some occasions where he would have you sat in his lap just right, you got invested, asking about each character and feature. He enjoyed moments like that with you, sharing something he enjoyed with the girl he loves. But it was so hard to try to get you to even come close when he was gaming.
"You have two hands." You responded, having no interest in engaging with him while he was swearing at 'who done it and the billy goat'.
"And they're both occupied." He said shortly.
You frowned, "How much longer do you have on that stupid game?"
"Ten minutes." He took in a deep breath before barking out a 'fuck you' at the game.
"Then wait the ten fucking minutes, I'm also eating."
You were growing increasingly irritated with him. He made you deliver his In-N-Out to him, didn't even greet you when you walked in, and was now expecting to be hand-fed. You thought about tossing your vape at his head, wanting him to stop acting like the dick face he's being. You also hated that he was making you feel desperate for his attention. You would never be caught on your knees, hands clasped, begging for anything from a man. Let alone, your fucking ex boyfriend.
He didn't argue back. He could feel your irritation growing, each rustle he heard from you behind him getting more aggressive. He wasn't trying to be so dismissive of you; he was just in the zone. And when he was in the zone, it was hard to get out of it. Even harder now with the top ten title beaming at him in his game, where he was currently sitting in third place.
It really wasn't that serious. He knew he was being completely dorky about it. Occasionally, though, the satisfaction of reaching the top in an impossible game was something he liked to experience. He felt more connected with his inner child. All in all, he would never put his juvenile video games above you.
You both let those ten minutes pass with no further disagreements. You alternated between hitting your vape and eating your fries, stealing some of Matt's drink in the process, not that he would care. Even though you were just sitting there on his bed, and he just got done pissing you off, it was the most relaxed you've felt since getting home from work. You let your mind be empty of any work thoughts, thinking about stupid questions like; if you blew hard enough on a tree, would it cause wind?
Matt finally stood up from his chair, stretching and tossing his headphones onto the desk. He looked down at you, completely relaxed on his bed. You had your vape resting against your chin, baby tee riding up enough to show off your California Sun-Kissed tummy that he wanted to just graze his teeth against, and his favorite, shorts stretched tight around those plush thighs. He was definitely going to wrap his hands around them, burying his face into your skin, he had every chance to now.
"Well?" You lifted a brow, absolutely noticing his wolfish stare, blue eyes tracking all over your body.
"Well." He echoed, fingers clamping around your ankle and gently dragging you down the bed towards him. Your vape fell along the way, but you didnβt care now that all his focus was on you. "I got second."
You cocked your head. "Congrats. Now you're finally noticing another body in your room."
He dropped the ankle he was holding, placing both hands on either side of your head, letting his weight fall onto his arms as he looked down at you. You brought your knees up, pressing them against his chest to force some space. It was more to agitate him than actually put space between you two.
He picked up on the deliberate move, a move he could easily dismantle with a faint glide of his finger against your skin, causing you to squirm and giggle anyway he wanted. But the position also gave him every excuse to latch his hands onto your thighs, and he did just that, thumb pressing into your soft flesh. A rush of relief washed over him, getting to hold one of his many favorite parts of you in his hand, he was getting hard already.
You both were slowly approaching the last stage of your breakup cycle. Not a single thought about stopping came to either of your minds.
"I knew you were in here." He argued, eyes locked on yours. "I said 'thank you'."
Your eyes stayed steady on his. "And all of that pressing me over the phone for some food, and you're not even going to eat it. I thought you were hungry?"
He gave you a smug smile, leaving a faint kiss on your knee. "I am. And trust, I am going to eat." He pressed his thumb harder into your thigh, sliding it towards the back of your knee.
Once you felt that sudden rush of heat spreading over you like carbonation being released from a soda canβall coming from every point of contact he had on youβyou knew it was absolutely over for you.
He concentrated on the way your pupils dilated after that move. He was in now. Video game be damned, this was the real fucking prize. "What's got you so snappy today?" His voice now carried a gently goading edge.
He was pressing play on the final stage of the makeup cycle. He was about to rile you up, just to be the one to bring you right down. He did care that you seemed stressed and that he was being a dick. And he was absolutely going to work to lower your stress as well as for your forgiveness.
He used the thumb pressed under your knee to push your leg back, enough to be able to lower himself even closer to you. If he just moved a few more inches now, he could press his face right into your neck, feeling each frustrating word and breath releasing from your lips before they turned into moans and whimpers.
Your breathing turned manual, your brain having to remind itself of the in and out pattern, otherwise you would stop.
"I'm not being snappy." You asserted, even though your irritation with him still lingered.
"I don't know..." he murmured, his tone coaxing, "You seem a little worked up."
You leveled him with a flat look. "Oh, do I? Maybe it's because my bitchass ex called me to hand deliver him food, then paid more attention to his game than me, all after I've had a very long day at work."
"I thought I was upgraded from bitchass?" He released your leg, hand skirting towards the waistband of your shorts as he settled more between your thighs. He felt those plush thighs that he had such a terrible weakness for bracket around his own hips. He was like a fucking dog, having to physically restrain himself from rolling them against yours.
He was getting cocky over you admitting that you felt deprived of his affection. You could act like you didnβt want anything to do with him all you wanted, but in the end, you were going to end up right here.
"Upgrade revoked. You've been pissing me off since you called me."
He was absolutely reveling in your aggravated state. He hooked his finger into the waistband of your shorts, teasingly tugging on them. He had every intention of fucking you, but this was to just pull an even more irritated look onto your face.
"You sure it wasn't just your job that's been doing that?" He feigned ignorance.
"Don't play fucking stupidβ" You sucked in a sharp breath when his hand broke the barrier of your waistband and dipped into your shorts, fingers brushing your inner thighs before cupping your pussy.
Your hands flew to his shoulders for purchase. You obviously weren't going to fall, but your vision tunneled right onto his overly smug face. His touch made your head fucking swim. The fizzy pulse you felt earlier jumped straight to electrifying. You suppressed the urge to grind your clothed pussy where his hand cupped it.
He was damn near losing his mind over the reaction he just pulled from you. Swear to God. He wanted to pause this moment, just so he could rewind it in his head over and over again.
He repositioned himself onto his elbow so he could cup your jaw. Your skin was undeniably radiating heat now. He rushed forward to tuck his face in the curve of your neck, your pulse beating right against his lips.
His beard scratched against your delicate skin. It was something that used to irritate you, particularly when he would get too rough and leave vague scratches behind. But right now, all care went out the window along with any coherent thoughts you had left.
He pressed the heel of his hand against your clit, his middle finger tracing your hole through your panties. You dug your fingers even harder into his shoulders, your breath hitching at the tiny contact. It was almost embarrassing, how he was able to coax a reaction from you without even doing much.
He grinned against your neck, feeling that breath rattling in your throat. "Why'd you stop talking?" He drawled, finally tugging down your panties. His finger dragged over your clit lightly, intentionally. "I love it when you talk shit." His voice rumbled, dipped in condescension and mockery.
Your hips jolted against his hand, and it irritated you how easily he was able to completely dismantle any resolve you had. How easily he could break you down to just this, like play dough in his hands.
His lips made contact with your skin the same moment he sank his middle and ring fingers into you. The wet warmth of you pulsing around his fingers and sucking them right in. He wasn't wasting any more time; he had been patient for long enough.
You couldn't hold back anymore, your aggravation completely cracking under his touch. You let out a soft gasp when he started pumping his fingers in and out of you, your pussy making soft, slick noises.
Your hand moved to the back of his head to press his face further into your neck. He caught your skin between his teeth, purposely biting down on it, before sucking it to soothe the sting.
"You're evil." You huffed out, eyelids fluttering to the feeling of his tongue lapping against your throat and fingers dragging in and out of you.
"And I love to fuckinβ corrupt you." He said hoarsely. You'd barely started, and he was already lost in it all. Your scent overpowered him, the feel of your pussy pulsing on his fingers, he was fucking drunk on it.
He left a gentle kiss on the red mark that was starting to flush into your skin. The gentleness completely contradicted what he was about to do to you.
He pulled away, hand moving from your cheek to your throat, thumb pressed against your chin to hold you still. He wanted to see your face scrunch up when he starts to finger you faster.
He curled his two fingers up, pressing into that spongy spot. βFuck.β You moaned, eyebrows furrowing and mouth falling open. There it is. He gave a wolfish grin, getting the exact reaction he wanted.
Your legs fell open even more, your pussy clamping on his fingers. He was hard as fuck now, cock straining and dripping pre-cum in his boxers. The noises you were making and the look on your face alone could make him cum right in his pants. He wouldnβt even be ashamed about it, it was that kind of power you had over him.
You knew you were absolutely done for when he released your throat, using his hand to push your knee back and open you up even more. His fingers switched to an up and down motion, pressing harder onto that spongy spot while stimulating your clit with his thumb, rubbing circles on it. The slick sounds your pussy was making was growing even more obscene. βOhhhβ¦β You gasped at the new rhythm, thighs clenching and trembling.
βLook at ya, baby. Being so good foβ me.β He was mesmerized by every sound coming out of you.
Your orgasm built embarrassingly quick. βMatt.β You whimpered as your pussy contracted. Your hole spasmed around his fingers before releasing warm jets of liquid in rhythmic spurts, your hips jolting with each overwhelming burst. You took in an audible, sharp breath, βoh god.β Was all you managed before a moan took over.
Holy Shit. His cock twitched and throbbed at the sight of you squirting, the wet spot spreading all over your shorts. His fingers didnβt stop when he felt you squirting right into his palm, if anything, it encouraged him to go faster, trying to prolong your orgasm.
You didnβt let him enjoy the sight for too long, picking your head up off the bed, going right back to irritated. βMy fucking shorts, Matt! What am I supposed to wear now?β You were a little breathless, pussy still spasming.
Instead of answering your question, he leaned in, placing a hand on the back of your neck and pulled you in for a rougher kiss, nipping and sucking on your bottom lip while he slowly and torturously worked his fingers out of you. He pulled away, βAw, you upset about your shorts pretty girl?β He said, his tone lightly patronizing. βDonβt worry,β He tugged them completely off now, the cold air against your wet thighs and pussy giving you a bit of a shock, βyou donβt need them anymore.β
He dove in for another kiss, your tongues tangling together. Your hands went right up into his hair, nails carding through it as you held him close. His beard nipped harshly against your face, sure to leave behind small, irritated spots. His lips were soft and magnetic, anytime you started kissing, you didnβt want to stop. All frustrations about your shorts melted away.
His hands focused on undoing his pants, stumbling to free his excruciating boner. His tip felt so sensitive, if you even looked at it he might just burst. He wouldnβt care about how pathetic it would have made him look. He needed some relief, quickly.
Once his pants were around his ankles, his thick bullet-tip dripping and slick with pre-cum, he pulled back from your lips to trail kisses down your body. He pecked down the column of your throat, his hands pushing your shirt and bra up to your chin. Your perky tits bounced from how impatient he was being, hastily getting you out of your clothes.
His lips latched right onto a pointed nipple, his sucking and biting leaving you squirming and keening under him. His other hand fisted your other tit, his fingers pinching and rolling your nipple. Your body felt like it was on fire, so sensitive that if he focused on just your tits any longer, you might cum again. βFuckβ¦just like that, Matt.β
Your tits were his favorite place to leave marks, like a little souvenir only the two of you knew about. It was a nice surprise to have whenever you two would fuck again a few days later, and there they were, littering your skin.
He moved onto your stomach, hands pressing into your waist to still your squirming. His lips pressed down on your skin with fervor. And just as he said he would, he used his teeth to nip the flesh on your stomach, tasting the California sun and cherries on his tongue. Every part of you was so fucking delicious to him. If there was a lollipop flavor that was made to taste like you, his sugar intake would absolutely triple. He could never get enough.
He felt each inhale and exhale right on his mouth, your stomach moving with each breath. He was hooked on the way he was able to make you so frantic, so eager to the point you were basically panting for it.
When he reached below your belly button, he straightened up. βYou ready?β He rasped.
You nodded eagerly, self respect left right at the door. βYes.β Your voice came out pleading, your pussy was aching to feel his cock. You hadnβt fucked anyone since breaking up with Matt which caused everything you were feeling to be amplified, senses heightened. You hated to admit it, but you were touch deprived.
He grinned, his expression full of knowing amusement. He gripped your thighs, relishing in the fact that he finally gets to feel them fucking tremble and shake under his hands. He was not going to last. But, by the looks of it, neither were you.
He pulled you all the way to the edge of the bed, giving him an easier angle to enter at. He pushed your legs further apart, gathering saliva in his mouth to spit right onto your already dewy pussy. It wasnβt necessary, purely self indulgent, watching his spit slide down the mound of your cunt.
You propped yourself up onto your elbows, watching the filthy action, your pussy aching at the feeling of his spit coating it.
He fisted the base of his cock, slapping it against your clit, earning a harsh shudder from you. He traced your slit with the tip, mixing and gathering all the wetness there, and using it as lube as he slides his hand down his cock.
He lined his tip up with your hole, his dick hadnβt even penetrated you yet and your thighs were already quivering. βYouβre already shaking, baby. How cute.β He spoke with an infuriating edge.
Your eyes snapped up to his, sharp. βOh please. Your balls are visibility blue.β
He loved the way you fired back. He had to hold back a groan, not wanting to prove your words right. That he was just as fucking needy as you were.
He pushed his tip inside, using his thumb to guide himself in. βWhat was that?β He taunted, watching your face.
Your sharp look fell a little, your pussy squeezing around the ridge of his tip like an elastic band. βStopβ¦mmphβ¦being such a dick.β You hissed out. That coiling feeling in your stomach already growing.
βSay that again, I couldnβt understand you.β He quipped again, pushing harshly into you. The moment your gummy walls sucked him in, his composure shattered, a pitiful noise breaking loose from his throat.
But it was masked by the loud whine you let out, his cock stretching you out blissfully. You forgot just how intense the stretch from his dick was. βohβ¦thatβsβ¦big.β You breathed out, voice lilting and rough. Your head fell back onto the bed, back arching to try and relieve some of the stretch, your hands were scratching and scrambling in his sheets.
His grip on your thigh tightened, trying to hold you still. If you kept squirming, he was actually going to flood inside of you. βToo big for you pretty girl?β He pressed a hand onto your lower stomach, flattening you back onto the bed and letting you feel the overwhelming sensation. Your hands fisted into his sheets, a pathetic little mewl tumbling out.
He rutted his hips against yours, dick sliding in and out of you, feeling every vein of his cock. βYou can take it, baby. I know you can.β He whispered with faux sympathy.
His hand slid up your stomach and found yours, lacing your fingers together as he pressed it against the bed next to your head. He pulled out halfway then rolled his hips against yours again, setting a slow and steady rhythm, allowing you to reacquaint to his size. But he wasnβt going to keep this pace, he didnβt want to go slow.
βMmm fuck yeah.β You moaned, your hand squeezing his. Your tongue was feeling loose now, mind completely focused on the way his dick was moving inside you.
βWhat was that about me being a dick again?β He asked, condescension filling his words. He thrusted into you a little harder and faster now, getting lost in the way your face morphed.
Your lips parted into an βoβ, moans and whimper punching out of your lungs with each thrust, brows furrowed and eyelids fluttering.
He mocked your expression, giving your thigh a squeeze. βOhhhβ¦such a pretty girl.β He cooed. βLook at you, canβt even speak now, huh?β
He put you in three more positions, fucking you into an orgasm each time. The bed creaked with the intensity and desperation of it all. His room filled with the sound of your crude moans and his groans. His thrusts were rough enough to tinge the back of your thighs red each time your skin smacked against his. The act of it all was so intoxicating, you both felt a little brainless while fucking.
βYou still take me so fucking well.β; βfuck, youβre beautiful like thisβ, βyeahhh, cum on my cock pretty girlβ. Heβd choke out in time with your moans.
Now he had you on your side, hand hooked under your knee, leg pulled back as he fucked into you from behind. He had an arm wrapped around your waist, keeping you anchored against him, his fingers pressing, playing, and pinching at your clit. You held onto his arm, your nails leaving tiny pink indents in his skin where you were trying to find an anchor.
His cock was covered in your creamy juices, letting him slide in and out of you easier. His arms and back decorated with red streaks from your nails.
βFuck, thatβs good.β Your words slurred, feeling his short breaths against your shoulder. His dick was dragging easier inside you, but you still clenched around his cock, sucking him up.
A strained noise escaped him, his rhythm breaking as his balls tightened. βFuck, Iβm βbouta cumβ¦β He rasped, pressing a tender kiss against your shoulder.
His words curled around your gut, your own orgasm approaching. βFuckβ¦Mattβ¦β You whined, his cock twitching inside you.
Your pussy squeezed around his cock, only urging him on. βYou gonna cum again?β He asked, sounding smug. He was about to make you cum five fucking time tonight.
He was for sure going to goad about this next time you decide that he isnβt anything but gum stuck to your shoe.
You didnβt verbally answer his question, your body jolting as your orgasm rushed through you. βMatt!β You moaned out his name, your hips rocking, and hole fluttering.
That heat that was pooled in your stomach released in a wave, washing over your whole body. Your pussy was dripping and creamy on his cock, evidence of your orgasm coating it.
βOhhhh fuuuck.β He groaned at this sight, his hips jerking as his cock thrummed against your seizing walls, his cum spilled inside you in three long bursts. He rutted into you each time his tip ejaculated his cum, your pussy squelching and squeezing around him.
He pressed balls deep into you, holding his dick there long enough for both of you to stop quivering with the aftershock of your orgasms.
You both finally felt sweet and addictive fucking release after months of not having sex. Your eyes were hazy, body feeling loose.
He placed your leg back down onto the bed, using his hand to spread you so he can watch his cock glide out of your wet and ruined cunt. Your pussy was swollen and sticky, some of his cum dripping out.
He dropped a kiss onto your reddened ass cheek, βYou did so good, baby.β He murmured, voice softer and losing the mocking edge. βYou feeling better now?β
Your cheeks were flushed, skin glistening with sweat, hair a tangled mess from him grabbing it and running his hands through it. Your chest rose and fell with pants, trying to catch your breath and allowing your brain to catch up with reality.
βYeah.β Your voice still came out a little languid, βI donβt even remember what I was bitching about.β
He lifted his eyes to you, pressing a kiss to your forehead. βThat was my goal. Now, letβs go get cleaned up. You can pee, steal whatever clothes you want, and Iβll change the sheets and wash your shorts for you.β His hand rubbed up and down your leg soothingly.
He had always been great at aftercare, making sure you were okay and giving you anything you needed.
βSounds like a great plan.β You puffed out, leaning against him.
βYour legs feelinβ alright?β
You nodded, although they were still quivering, the soreness has yet to set in. And even if it did, Matt would make sure it went away as quickly as he could manage.
βFeeling the best I can feel after being thrown around and rammed into.β
Matt chuckled at you, planting another kiss onto your forehead. βSo I should expect a complaint about how much you hurt tomorrow?β
You smiled. βAlways.β
You both took your time getting up, having to recover from a long round of make up sex after being broken up for the longest time in your recorded history.
It was going to take some time for your legs to stop shaking, your muscles spasmed with every position he twisted you into.
He helped you find some clothes to slip into before sneaking out to his bathroom. You cleaned yourself up, making sure to go pee and wipe yourself up. Matt took that time to tidy up in the bedroom, pulling his boxers back on and then throwing the sheets and your shorts into the wash. He intruded for a second to wash himself up and to make sure you were okay.
You walked back in a moment later, Matt lounging lazily against the headrest of his bed that now had fresh sheets on it. He was popping In-N-Out fries into his mouth, other hand tapping on his phone.
He looked up at you when you walked in, patting the spot next to him. βCβmere baby.β He said softly. βI got you water and found your vape. Let me know if you want a snack or a massage, or vent about your shitty ass job.β
You dropped down onto the bed next to him, his arm wrapping around your middle in an instant to pull you close. Fries and phone pushed to the side because he didnβt care about anything but you.
βIt is not a shitty job.β You defended, βit was justβ¦ long day.β
βMhm.β He hummed against your shoulder. βNot shitty job, just one that stresses you out.β
You pulled back slightly to look at him, βCan we stop talking about my job now?β
He smirked at you, a little sheepish that he almost stressed you out all over again. βYes, I will happily shut up.β
Even though you were just as close as you could ever be a few minutes ago, neither of you could get enough of that contact. Itβs what made shit so dangerous whenever youβd break up. Like trying to quit an addictive substance. Anytime the temptation was dangling right in front of you, you both were scrambling to reach for it.
βGreat performance by the way, I donβt think Iβve ever heard you whimper before.β You commented, a satisfied smirk setting onto your face.
He shot you a look, hand already massaging your shaking thighs without you having to ask for it. βIβm surprised you were able to hear that over your loud cries. It was one whimper. Forgive me, I was physically aching for your pussy.β
You grew even more satisfied with his words, βOh, so desperate werenβt you?β You teased, your finger tracing up and down his arm.
His eyes darkened at your words. βBaby, I worship you.β He said, having admitted this a million times before. βAnd maybe I did let a little whimper slip, but you were loud enough to wake Chris.β He added with a smug look.
βWhat?β You blurted.
βDonβt worry sweetheart.β He mumbled, leaning in close. βJus a lil noise complaint is all.β Before you could sit with that embarrassing revelation, he pressed his lips to yours, kissing you tenderly.
You both savored the way the kiss felt, your body almost doubling over with relief, being able to kiss him again.
But this wasnβt you taking him back, not yet. He still had to apologize, say the actual words to you.
This fuck was in no way, make up sex. You were simply giving in to your bodyβs needs. And it certainly needed him.

You all had to get up early for your flight to Boston. All of your suitcases have been placed by the door so Matt could easily put them in the car this morning. Matt had already been up, curating a breakfast for everyoneβmostly you.
He knew you would be on edge today because you would be on a plane for nearly six hours. He thought it was so bizarre that someone like youβsomeone who, on the surface, was so fearless of everything and anythingβwas afraid of something so mundane like heights. With that thought in mind, he was trying to make you as comfortable as possible.
He plated your food last to make sure it was warm. Right then, you and Nick emerged from his room. Both of you having slept in your airport clothes, looking ruffled from sleep. He didn't expect you to say even more than a grunt to him. On top of being afraid of heights, you were also not a morning person. And he had managed to piss you off last week with his stupid confession. He knew you were going to be irritable today because of the setting of it all. But it's nothing he hadn't dealt with before.
"Breakfast?" Nick grunted, walking over to the table where Matt had three small plates ready for everyone. He had already eaten his so he could pack the car while everyone ate.
Matt nodded. His interest was no longer in the food, but in you. He'd seen you dressed down so many times, and every single time, it had him hooked. It never looked ill-fitting on you and always seemed to encourage your personality even more. Like you are completely unfiltered on the outside and in. He loved to see that more than anything.
Your little red graphic tee was designed to show off the perfect amount of skinβat least that's what he thought. It slid off your shoulder on one side and the hem stopped just above your belly button. Your grey sweatpants sat low on your hips, keeping that sliver of skin on your midriff exposed to him. He would do anything to be able to stretch his hand out and make contact with that inch of exposed skin, his worn fingers gliding across your velvety skin. If he tried, he knew you would bend his wrist back till he was shouting to the high heavens. So he shook that thought out of his head.
He carefully slid your plate towards you, stacked with a single breakfast sandwich and some fruit.
"Thanks." You croaked, voice still raspy from sleep. You didn't sit to eat, feeling too antsy to stay still.
Chris bounded into the kitchen moments later. He told everyone good morning before grumbling about how hungry he is and going straight for his sandwich.
"Where is your purse at?" Matt asked, standing next to you. Your cherry-vanilla scent wafting towards him and he had to consciously force his knees not to buckle.
You swallowed your mouthful of food, eyeing him from the side. "Why the fuck do you need my purse?"
He knew the first thing you would say this morning would be laced with some snark. And it didn't help that he was the first to speak to you. Given that you two weren't on great terms, he expected it.
He exhaled, carding his fingers through his disorderly hair. "I got you medicine to help you sleep on the plane."
You gave him a perplexed look, blinking your puffy eyes slowly. He could tell you were surprised by the act. You always had this narrative that he was rarely considerate of you. It pissed him off anytime you did that, expressed how much you thought he didnβt care. He's anything but inconsiderate when it came to you, he really believed that. He would drop anything whenever you asked. He did whatever you wanted. He let you push and pull him around and he loved it.
You looked away from him, spearing a piece of fruit. "It's by my suitcase."
With that, he broke off from the rest of the group, pulling the ziplock bag of Benadryl, Dramamine, and melatonin out of his sweatpants pocket. You were not prone to getting motion sick, but he knew Dramamine would relax you the quickest, knocking you out before takeoff if timed perfectly.
Nick made his way to the sink, shooting you a look with a raised brow as he passed you. You knew what that look meant, a silent reminder of the text conversation you shared prior to today. Nick especially knew that Matt was not over you. Matt getting you medication to help you sleep for the flight just added to Nick's lists of evidence, aside from the most obvious one discussed last week.
He began to wash his plate, his back to you and Chris now. "I'm probably going to need some of those drugs. I have to sit next to this fucking kid the entire plane ride." Nick gestures aggressively towards Chris, who was shoving the last of his sandwich into his mouth.
"Hey!" Chris said around a mouthful. "At least I'll be across the fucking aisle!" Chris exclaimed, then looked to you. "I feel bad for whoever is going to sit in front of this demon. She'll probably karate kick their seat whenever they move wrong."
You squinted at Chris, shifting to hand your empty plate to Nick. "Now what would give you the imagination that I would ever do that?"
"Imagination? I was not imagining when you tried to roundhouse kick me because I stole your karaoke song the other night!"
You playfully rolled your eyes at his dramatics and faced Nick. "Yeah, have all the drugs you need, it's gonna be a long flight with him."
Matt walked back into the scene in the kitchen, Chris standing there, arms outstretched in disbelief.
"Don't worry, kid. She's all bark, no bite." Matt said to Chris, giving him a comforting pat on the shoulder. "Y'guys ready? Car's all packed."
The four of you started moving about the house, making sure you had everything you needed. In your true fashion, you paired your airport outfit with sandals, pulled your sunglasses out of your purse, and slipped them onto your face.
"Sunglasses? You hungover?" Matt asked, the words meant to be lighthearted and teasing. He should have known that you would take it the wrong way, given all the comments he'd made in the past about you partying.
He couldn't see the dirty look you were giving him under the sunglasses. But he knew it was there.
"No. I'm just fucking tired."
He stared at you for a moment. Taking in your messy ponytail, hair framing your face in a messy but perfect way. The hair paired with the sunglasses just did something to him. His restraints were already crumbling, and the two of you hadn't even been in the same room for that long. He never realized how much he appreciated you in this disheveled state. You weren't dressed up for anybody else, completely comfortable around him.
Even though he was already pushing his luck with all the shit that's gone down since you both started speaking again, he reached out to you anyway. He placed a light hand on your back, his thumb pressing against your spine, on that sliver of skin that was showing. It was like static electricity, touching you like this. Even if it was just a whisper of a touch.
He guided you out the door and to the car, using it as an excuse to keep his hand on you. "Just funny since the sun's not even up yet."
"I didn't know there was a law that I couldn't wear sunglasses at any time of the day."
He anticipated every single retort you were going to throw at him. This one made him chuckle a little. "Just get in the fucking car."

Against your multiple protests, Matt dragged your little suitcase through LAX for you.
The four of you were at your gate, waiting to board your flight. Chris was on the floor, slumped against the wall, snoring. Matt had gone to one of the smaller stores to get snacks.
"How are you feeling?" Nick asked, studying your body language.
Your heart was in your ass. You knew it would be even worse when the screen in front of you on the airplane would display how many feet in the air you were. You were going to be suspended at roughly 40,000 feet in the air, and your mind was reeling over it. The first thing you were going to do when you land was kiss the ground.
"I'm fine." You told Nick, also trying to convince yourself. Nick examined you, obviously not believing you.
He stood up, swinging his arms. "Come on, let's do some yoga. It helps you relax or whatever."
You breathed out, grateful for the distraction he was providing. Even if it would look a little ridiculous in front of other people, neither of you really cared. He took his phone out, looking up a list of yoga poses to do.
"Okay, first. The goddess pose. To remind you that you are one." He got into position, spreading his arms and legs and squating marginally. He looked silly as hell doing it. You followed suit, getting yourself into the pose. "Great, now hold it." He instructed, taking this yoga session very seriously.
He locked into yoga instructor mode. He's never done yoga, so him trying to instruct you into different poses was very comical.
Both of your giggles grew with each pose, causing many people to look your way. Some of them looked entertained by you and Nick, others looked a little annoyed since it was way too early in the morning to be folding your body around on the floor.
For those few minutes, you actually forgot about your anxiety about being up high for hours at a time.
"What the hell are you two doing?" Matt's voice cut in just as you and Nick were going down into a lunge.
He looked at both of you, a bag of snacks in his hand, a look of agitation on his face.
"Yoga, what the hell does it look like?" Nick answered, voice tinged with annoyance. He got up out of his lunge, walking over to grab the bag from Matt. "What'd you get?"
Matt shifted the bag away, "I'll deal the snacks. You two sit down." He pointed to the seats you were occupying ten minutes ago. "Lookin like a pair of clowns tryna do an awful dance."
You frowned at his comment, shaking your limbs out. You stretch your arms over your head, releasing more tension from your back. Matt took the opportunity to sneak a peek at where your shirt rid up, not even trying to hide it. He was absolutely enjoying the view. You both were annoyed with each other now, the way it always was. But you also didn't mind him looking. You hoped it was torture to him.
He pulled a bottle of water out of the bag and handed it to you. "Take your Dramamine now. And get your headphones out so you can listen to that playlist. We're boarding in fifteen, and I'm not listening to you freak out the whole flight."
You settled into an even meaner look at his words, snatching the bottle from him. Nick placed a hand on your shoulder, squeezing it. "If you want to switch seats, let me know. He's being a dick."
Matt didn't mean for his words to sound so rude. As soon as the words left his mouth, he immediately felt awful. Every act was now feuld by his annoyance. A little bit was from you, rolling around on the floor and giggling while strangers gave you judgmental looks. He didn't appreciate being perceived the wrong way by anyone in public. Most of it was at Nick for encouraging it. The two of you could never just fucking sit still.
Before you could answer Nick, Matt interrupted. "Absolutely not. You know how she is with heights and feels most secure in the middle. I already have to sit by you two the entire flight, don't make it harder."
Nick shot him a burning glare. "She's my best friend. I know exactly what she needs to feel comfortable, and one of those is not sitting next to a bag of dicks."
Matt clenched his jaw. "Do what you want." Is all he said, not wanting to argue any further. He knew that if you were to switch seats, not even halfway through the flight, you'd ask to be in the middle seat again.
It wasn't an argument to make you look weak or like you couldn't handle yourself. He wasn't trying to control you either, or trying to purposely invade your space. He just knew you. He knew that as soon as the flight took off, your chest would start rising and falling in short spurts, panicked. Your music would start bleeding through your headphones, trying to drown out the noise of you being lifted up far from the ground. He also knew that your hands would be scrambling for purchase, knuckling against the armrest. But he also knew every single way to prevent those reactions from happening. Which is why heβs being so strict with the precautions. He hated seeing you panicked.
You and Nick walked away from Matt, digging into your purse for your medication and your headphones. You shook out two tablets of Dramamine for yourself, popping them into your mouth and quickly washing them down with the water Matt bought.
"I seriously might need some Benadryl. Both of my brothers are pissing me off, and I want to sleep through their mood swings." Nick reached for the Dramamine in your bag, getting some for himself and washing the pills down with your water.
"What'd Chris do?" You questioned, glancing at the sleeping boy.
"Nothing yet, but he will."
They called for boarding minutes later. Chris blinked awake when Nick shook him with his foot, then the four of you were in action to get on the plane.
Even though Nick had put up a good argument about where you could be seated. You still found yourself in the middle seat between Matt and Nick. You hated to admit it, but Matt was right; you did feel much more secure sitting in the middle seat. Others may have found it uncomfortable, but it gave you a sense of security.
You were already feeling drowsy before the plane even took off. You tried to stay awake through the safety presentation, but the Dramamine was already kicking through your body. You didn't even get a chance to start your music before you slipped your sunglasses over your eyes and your head was knocking back.
"Hey." You heard Matt's voice through your sleepy haze, his hand gently cupping your chin. You blinked, forcing your eyes open enough to watch Matt slide your headphones over your ears and then tapping into your phone to put on the playlist he had made you.
Although it was full of songs that would typically have you jumping in the club or at parties, it was comforting in a way. The electronic waves of each song seem to travel over all of your senses and help you settle a little more. Before you knew it, your head was propped onto Matt's shoulder, and you were sound asleep long before takeoff.
Matt felt relaxed seeing you relaxed. He didn't realize he was so wound tight. It was a routine you and him did whenever you had to get on a plane. But he was more worried today, thinking that he wouldn't be able to help you relax since you both felt like you were on uneven ground around each other, afraid that one wrong step would set off a landmine. But seeing that all the precautions he tookβeven though he was a dick about some of itβwork before the plane even began to move put him at ease.
He looked out the window as you slept, assessing whether or not you would enjoy looking out of it when you inevitably woke up. He knew you only enjoyed looking out the window if you could see the ground. He had the bag of snacks tucked in front of him, full of yours, Nick's, and Chris' favorites. You may have thought that he was the most selfish person to exist at the moment, but he quietly moved in ways that showed he was not.
He took this moment of silenceβyou asleep, Nick trying to get in flight wifi, and Chris fighting with the entertainment screenβto think about your relationship and how to fix it.
The words he said to you all those months ago could not be taken back, and he knew it was the ultimate downfall of you and him. While you may out-stubborn him, he could be stubborn as well. He would never admit straight up that he missed you or wanted you back. He would press the buttons he knew to press with you. Each button leading up to your unraveling and ultimately dragging you straight to his bedβor whatever surface available. After the make-up sex, neither of you would have a real talk about what it meant or where you went from there. He'd just throw out the word 'girlfriend' and watch your reaction, see if it stuck. It had been this way for three years now. While he knew you deserved better than an on-again, off-again relationship, and he tried to be stable, he also knew you both loved each other way too much to just give it all up.
β γ»γ»γ»γ»γ»γ»β
To nobody's surprise, you slept the entire flight. The combination of being up early and the medication allowing you to stay asleep the entire time. You were barely awake when the flight attendant came around asking if anyone wanted any in-flight snacks. Nick was the one to tap you awake, knowing you would have been pissed if nobody woke you up. Nick almost didnβt wake up himself, the Benadryl taking him down with you. But Chris started the domino effect of waking everyone up, shoving Nick awake.
You sleepily sipped on your diet coke, feeling comfortable enough to slip your headphones off. Matt was still awake, silently staring out the window.
Matt tapped your shoulder and motioned to the window he was looking out of. "Look. We're over Colorado right now."
You both looked out at the view, the sun rising over the mountains that littered Colorado. It was very scenic and breathtaking; you actually almost fully woke up to appreciate the view. You lazily grabbed your phone, leaning over Matt to get a picture of the outside.
"Beautiful, huh?" He asked, face close to yours.
"Yeah, very." You agreed, focused on the view out the window.
You knew Matt had always thought about moving into a house with a crazy view of the mountains. He talked to you about being able to wake up early in the morning, walking outside with his breakfast, and getting a view of the surrounding nature in place of the rush of Los Angeles. Additionally, he knew that you couldn't imagine a better place to live outside of California. You both compromised and had future plans to move into a house nestled in the hills of the state. To Matt, those were just dreams now, given the current state of your relationship. To you, you were going to do it with or without him. But he didnβt have any plans to give up on those dreams.
"Imagine getting to see a view like that on the daily. I envy these people." He mumbled, focus split between you and the mountains outside.
You felt a slight pang in your chest at the reminder of his dream life. "You'll get there one day. I mean, you've got all the means for it."
He shook his head, a tight smile forming on his lips. "Yeah, all my plans aren't in place yet. Still got a lot before I can get there."
You leaned back to look at him. "Like what? Not living with your brothers?"
He breathed out a laugh. "That, and I would much rather have you be part of this plan." He let himself be honest in that moment. Nothing he said now could be as bad as what he texted the other night.
You didn't have time to sit with what he said before the plane shook with turbulence, and Nick was springing into action, trying to distract you. You barely noticed Matt letting you grip his hand while Nick tried to lull you back to sleep by attempting to play an in-flight movie for both of you. The combination of the movie droning on and Matt's fingers languidly moving against the back of your hand did put you right back to sleep.
When you landed and stepped out into the humidity of the East Coast, their mom was pulling you into an embrace the moment she saw you.
She shoved the three boys out of the way, trying to get to you first. "Move out of the way, I need to see my daughter."
She said the word so easily. Not having another girl around the house all those years made you become her favorite very quickly. The two of you are always walking around downtown together, running errands she needs, or even going for a quiet brunch. And you enjoyed every moment with her, even if it was to buy thank you cards at the craft store. You were like a daughter to her. You and Matt being together was another bonus for her. She had a premonition that you and Matt would get married, and then you would officially and legally become her daughter.
"So good to see you too, mom." Chris said sarcastically, watching Mary Lou wrap her arms around your torso and you instantly returned the hug, just as happy to see her.
She reached out to squeeze Chris' arm after releasing you. "Don't worry, I'm happy to see my boys, too. But I didn't get to see my sweet girl the last time you were all here. It's been too long."
Nick snorted, tugging the boot of the minivan open. "You facetimed her the other night to show her the trinkets you bought."
She squeezed your hand. "FaceTime is not the same as seeing her in person, Nick."
You all piled into the car shortly after Mary Lou went around and greeted everyone. During the car ride home, you tried to fight off the last of the Dramamine effects while their mom discussed her plans for dinner and the rest of the trip.

Everyone and you claimed the shower when you all got back to the house. Changing out of your plane clothes into shorts and a big t-shirt, the origins of it are a mystery. Your hair was slowly air-drying, still damp from the shower.
You pulled the bathroom door open, towel in hand, just as Matt was walking past. He changed into a pair of shorts and a sweatshirt. You never understood how he could bear the heat in outfits like this, especially coming from a cold state.
He paused, eyes on the shirt you were wearing. "Is that mine?"
Like any other guy, he loved seeing you in his clothes. He loved knowing that you felt safe in his clothes. It was even better when you would wake up in his bed the next morning, basking in the afterglow of sex and smelling like him while wearing his t-shirt and nothing else.
You looked down at the navy tee, the Red Sox lettering on it faded. It would make sense if it were his shirt. You didn't like the Red Sox. Nor did you care for baseball. "Huh, maybe."
He tilted his head. "I didnβt even realize you had it. How many other clothes of mine do you have?" He had to fight to keep his eyes strictly on the shirt and your face. If they wandered down any lower, like to the shorts peeking from underneath the shirt and squeezing your soft thighs just right, they wouldn't come back up. And he might even fall down to the floor, grasping at them.
You shrugged, looking back up at him. "I don't know. Do you want it back?"
He shook his head, declining the request. "Why do you still have it? I thought you'd burn all my belongings by now."
You lifted a hand up to twist a finger in your wet hair. "I didn't know it was yours. I like to sleep in it, it's comfortable."
He snorted, not believing you. "Didn't know it was mine." He restated, "What other people in LA do you know likes the fucking Red Sox besides my brothers and me?"
You scowled at him, confused by the confrontation. "Dude, do you want it back or what? Why are you asking so many questions?"
He shook his head again. "No, keep it. I clearly didn't miss it." His words felt like a punch. But he didn't mean it in that way. He was being literal. He hadn't even noticed it was missing until it reappeared on you. "Jus tryna figure out how many unclaimed shirts from other people you have." That statement was meant to be a little vague. It was a dig at the unclaimed condom he found the other night in your car.
"What the fuck? I don't fucking move like that." You argued back.
He raised his eyebrows, feigning surprise. "You don't? So you just randomly have condoms that you bought lying around? Those don't belong to other guys?"
You were a little blindsided by the conversation. How did it go from his shirt back to the other night?
"What does it matter who it fucking belonged to? We're not together." But you were being hypocritical because you also had gnawing questions about the girls you've seen rotate in and out of his life the past few months.
He actually glared at you. "You knew that shit drove me crazy." His voice dropped into an angry octave.
You huffed, moving past him towards Nick's room to drop the towel off. You didn't get far before he walked up and blocked you from advancing anywhere.
"Don't fucking walk away."
You looked up at him, meeting his eyes. "I told you already, I don't want to do this."
He placed a hand on the wall near you, shifting his body to block you from trying to walk away again. "So you're just going to brush it all under the rug? Pretend like we didn't almost kiss the last time we saw each other?" The closeness was dizzying to both of you. Your cherry-vanilla scent was traveling straight to his brain and made him feel like he was under your influence. His clean and woodsy scent was completely captivating you. It was hard for either of you to think straight in this moment.
You knew that the mature thing to do was talk about it. Matt was absolutely right that neither of you could stay away from each other. A little part of you knew that the last time wasn't truly the last. You knew you would eventually end up right back in his lap. Matt knew it too. He was being persistent with all of his actions because he knew you two would end up right back with each other. He just had to go about it in all the right ways.
The only thing different this time is that you were waiting for an apology from him. A verbal one. You knew you deserved better than the shit he pulls when he gets upset with you.
Matt didn't know that you were waiting for one. Every time you've made up in the past, the apology was purely physical. He'd tell you all the sweet things he'd wanted to say to you, and then you'd melt right into his palm. But that was before he said those bitter words to you. He just thought this was like every other time you guys had broken up.
"And none of that would've happened if you didn't break no-contact." You bit back.
His face morphed, actually looking hurt. "Yeah, well, I can't exactly control myself around you, baby." He whispered. The words tumbled out of his mouth, pupils dilated, and he knew he was gone.
All sense escaped his brain and he forgot that he was supposed to be talking to you about the condom, the almost kiss, he was even going to explain the girls to you.
You blinked, squeezing your eyes and trying to breathe through your mouth. But his scent clung to you now. "Don't do this. I can'tβ"
His heart squeezed at the distressed look on your face. He allowed himself to lean in and press his lips to your forehead. "Didn't mean to stress ya out, sweetheart." He said against your skin.
You clutched the towel at the soft peck. You felt like you were seriously going to fall over now. You kind of hated him for it. That small whisper of a kiss felt like a startling awakening, traveling all over your body. If that's how a forehead kiss from him made you feel, you'd need the paramedics on speed dial if he were to ever really kiss you again.
He pushed his luck even more, dropping his hand from the wall to pat your hip. "Go on, mom's got dinner cooking. But we are talking about this later." He spoke in a softer tone now, but the anger was still simmering underneath.
He needed any excuse and any chance to touch you when you let him. He didn't know when he would be able to get that contact next time or to what extent. Being deprived of that was like being deprived of oxygen. He felt weak and desperate anytime he couldnβt feel your warmth against his.
You took that opportunity to walk off to Nick's room, your steps as unsteady as your mind.

You joined their mom in the kitchen where she was beginning to layer the lasagna she was making. After washing your hands, you jumped in to help, no questions asked. Although it wasn't often you got to do this, it was like routine for both of you whenever you came to visit.
The conversation started out small. She asked how the flight was and asked if you did well on the flight because she was also aware of your fear of heights. She asked about you and your family. And it wasnβt those stupid small talk you hated so much, she was genuinely checking in and actually cared.
"Matt was telling me about your new job." She said, placing the toppings onto the lasagna.
You felt your heart drop a little because you didn't know if it was a good or bad thing that she knew about your job. Matt could have told her anything about it. He probably gave her a negative summary of it. He hadnβt exactly been supportive since finding out about it.
"Yeah!" You chipped, focused on what your hands were doing. "It was a great opportunity. I got it right out of school, which was nice because I didn't have to worry about the job search."
She gave you a warm smile, and she actually looked very proud of you. The two of you had many talks about your future, college, and what you wanted to do after it. She was very supportive of you through it all.
"It sounds super cool from what Matt was telling me. I'm glad you found a job that won't try to dim your personality. Honestly, I'm proud of you."
You smiled back at her, feeling some relief that Matt didn't tell her a false narrativeβ like you were probably doing coke and fucking guys in bathroom stalls. He actually told her the truth about your job.
"Thank you. I don't think there's any job that could be more perfect for me."
You took a step back, grabbing some foil from one of the cabinets to place over top of the lasagna.
"And you're very social. You'll become successful very quickly in a job like that." She helped you place the foil carefully over the dinner. "I know you and Matt get in your little tiffs often, but you both care about each other very much. Every time I call him, he's always giving me updates on you, and he seems like such a proud boyfriend every time." She paused to let out a light chuckle. You flinched a little when she called him your boyfriend; you just hoped she didn't notice. "You two seriously love each other. I haven't seen him this happy now that you two have been dating."
You let her words settle into your bones, letting yourself think about them. She was looking at the bigger picture of you two while you were narrowing it down to that one night.
You were surprised to hear that he's been talking about you, showing you off to his parents. He never seemed to truly be that invested in anything you did. You felt like anytime he had anything to say to you was to yell at you or coax you into something. Their mom's words just gave you a little more insight into how Matt actually is with you.

alternate universe: Disconnected
You pulled into the Tripletβs driveway on a quick mission. The four of you were meeting some friends for a birthday dinner, and Nick had managed to forget his phone at home. You, Chris, and Nick all left before Matt did because Matt had to do a phone call with Prada around the time you all had to leave. He was just going to meet you all at the restaurant later. Then Nick told you he forgot his phone, you quickly offered to drive back to go get it, thinking Matt had already left the house.
You got out of the car, leaving the engine running because you were going to be quick. You walk up the driveway, Nick's keys in hand. As you reached the front door, preparing to unlock it, it swung open.
"What are you doing back here?" He asked, blue eyes tracking down the pink mini dress you were wearing.
You stood there, keys dangling from your hand, heart hammering from the surprise of Matt still being home. "Nick forgot his phone."
Matt scoffed, already annoyed with his brother. "Of course. Why didn't any of you text me? I could've grabbed it before I left."
"I didn't know you were home." You responded, twisting to drop Nick's keys safely into your purse.
You looked up just in time to catch Matt's brows furrowing in confusion. He turned to walk back into the house, and you followed in behind, shutting the door. You took this time to take in the outfit he was wearing. He had the bright idea to dress for the Southern California weather in the middle of summer and wore a light white tee and jeans, a backwards cap perched on his head.
"Don't you have my location?" He asked, heading into Nick's room to grab his phone off the charger.
"What?" You questioned, baffled at his own question. Why would you have his location if you had been broken up for months already? "No. Why would I?"
He turned to face you again, holding Nick's phone out to you. "Huh, I still have yours."
You frowned at his admission. "Why the fuck do you still have it?" I took the phone from him, placing that in my purse along with Nick's keys.
He shrugged, taking a step closer to you, forcing his gaze down. "You never stopped sharing it."
You scoffed at the statement, delivered with such nonchalance that it kind of pissed you off. Like having your ex's location was just another normal day. You took a mental note to stop sharing your location with him.
"Thanks for finding his phone." You said, turning to leave the way you came.
Before you could fully turn away, Matt reached out and grabbed your upper arm lightly. "Wait."
You were already irritated with him about the whole location thing. Him touching you just irritated you further. The way his rough hands felt against your smooth skin was making you feel dangerously close to fainting. It was pathetic. How that little touch already had you spiraling. Your skin was craving him, and you hadn't even noticed it until this little touch. It escalated even more when you thought about his Instagram story from the other day. His hands probably sliding up, down, and all over that mystery girl. You should have pulled away, but your skin was thrumming from the small contact.
"What?" You retorted, breaking yourself from your thoughts. You faced him again but didn't look at him.
"Hand me your keys, I'll drive." He held out his other hand, waiting for your keys. "We're all going to and from the same place anyway." He reasoned, knowing you were probably going to give him excuses on why he should just drive himself.
"I can drive, you know? I'm a licensed driver."
He chuckled, trying to meet your eyes, but you refused to look at him. "Yeah, but we're going to a dinner and I know you can't control yourself enough to not have a couple of drinks."
Your irritation flared even more now at his judgment of you. Same comments, different fucking day. He knew you were fed up with all his remarks about you and your partying; it was the main reason you two broke up. You pulled your keys out of your purse and shoved them into his hand. You shrugged his hand off of your arm and stalked ahead of him to your car.
You didn't want to stand there and argue with him for many reasons. One, your car was still running; two, you had a birthday dinner to go to; and three, you wanted to be in a good mood for the rest of the night. Fuck Matt and whatever the fuck he wants to say.
You also knew, from the many years of being his girlfriend, that he was secretly loving how mad you were getting. You had told yourself already that you were not going to give in to him. Any reaction from you was a win for him. And you certainly didnβt want to give him the time of day after the bullshit he pulled the other night with his Instagram story.
You tried to fix your dress whilst you walked out to your car, and you could feel his gaze scanning over every part of your body. Parts he knew better than anybody else.
You got into the passenger seat, slamming the door shut behind you and angrily tugging your seatbelt on. Your phone connects via Bluetooth, a Flo Rida song blasting through the cabin. The music calms you, even though the beats are the opposite of calming. You let yourself enjoy the bass thumping against your speakers before Matt comes in and tries to take over the aux with his own music.
Matt got into the driver's seat a few seconds later, wasting no time in turning your music down. He buckled up and adjusted the seat to accommodate his height, but he didn't put the car in drive.
He turned to look at you, reaching a hand out to pat against your knee. The gesture was far from comforting, though. It was condescending. The way he always behaved when he knew he was getting to you.
"You're pouting, sweetheart." He squeezed your knee. You crossed your arms but didn't push him away. You forgot how addicting his touch was. Your skin was buzzing, and you actually wanted more.
"Just drive the fucking car, Matt. We have somewhere to be." You snapped, facing him.
He smirked, patting your knee again. "Phone... please." He emphasized his words, conveying his sarcasm.
You pulled your phone out and handed it to him. Before you could even tell him your password, he unlocked it and navigated to your maps to pull up the directions. You made a face at that, but his attention was elsewhere. It was like he had a filing cabinet in his brain filled with information about you. There was no reason to be upset with him for knowing your password though, you hadn't changed it in years.
He placed your phone into your phone holder and went to grab the gear shift, but paused. He grabbed something in the gear well that you couldn't see because it was dark out.
It was actually silent for a beat. The amusement on his face shifting into something darker.
"Who are you fucking?" He asked the question, seeming unprompted. All playfulness was gone from his voice.
You whipped your head towards him, shocked. "What? What the fuck are you talking about?"
He held his hand up, a condom packet settled between his forefinger and middle finger. "Who," He paused, jaw clenching, "are you fucking?"
You felt your cheeks heating. "Whaβ noβnobody." You stuttered. "It's probably yours."
It was the truth. You didn't fuck anybody. However, there was a guy with you in the backseat of your car a few nights ago. But it never got past a heated and sloppy make-out session. You got the ick from the guy when you pulled away from the kiss for air, and your entire chin was wet with slobber. You pretended like you got an emergency phone call and kicked him out of your car before things could advance.
Either way, itβs not like he had the right to be mad. The communication between both of you had been shit since you started speaking again. The whole Instagram feud, now this? It was all fucking stupid. Neither of you had any business fussing about what the other was doing. But for some reason, neither of you could stop.
Matt shook his head, eyes narrowing at you. "It's not mine. We use Trojan, baby. We don't use Durex." He shook the packet to emphasize his stupid point.
You don't miss the way he said 'we' instead of 'I'. At that, you returned his glare. "No, you use Trojan. I don't have a penis."
He scoffed, licking his pink lips. "I am very well aware that you don't have a penis, babygirl." He took in a breath, trying to calm himself. "So who's fucking condom is this?"
You reached out, snatching the condom from his hands and tossing it into the side of the door. "None of your business." You turned away from him, focusing out the window.
You heard him let out a long sigh. You both were over this conversation now. But you knew it would comeback up eventually. Like a tea kettle waiting to hit its boiling point. You just didnβt know when. Neither of you were going to be alone in a room together anytime soon to hash shit out. You felt a flare of victory in your chest at his reaction. Now you wouldn't have to worry about him trying to get under your skin and breaking back into your life. He was pissed off for real now.
He extended his arm across the center console, breaking into your space anyway. He cupped your face and guided you to look at him, his face the closest it's been in months. His blue eyes bounced between your own, that soft look settling into them.
"Let's not fight tonight. We're going to a birthday dinner, and it's supposed to be a fun night." He said, voice softer now.
He kept his hand cupped against your cheek, his thumb moving against your skin most minutely, you could have imagined it. And there was that feeling again, when he touched you, like two strong magnets snapping together. Your skin hummed for more, unconsciously leaning your cheek into his hand.
You nodded. "Yeah, please. This night isn't about us."
"Yeah." He agreed. But you could tell he was fighting the urge to ask more questions and interrogate you about this guy you've supposedly been fucking.
And you were fighting your own questions about where he was the other night, who he was with, and who that girl was.
But you knew that if you asked, he would see that as an opportunity to slip back in. Cooing sweet words into your ear and comforting you, telling you that youβd only ever been the one for him.
For a second, he leaned in. His breath mingled with yours, eyes locked onto your lips. For that second, you actually let him. But then your ringtone erupted through the car speakers, the two of you jumped apart.
You leaned back against your seat, taking in a sobering breath. You were actually about to fucking let Matt kiss you. And you were probably going to kiss him back. Like your whole relationship didnβt blow up months ago. Letting him waltz back into your life, knowing how little respect he has for your way of living.
"Fuckin' Chris." Matt grumbled, hitting the answer button on your phone. "What the fuck do you want?"
You silently thanked Chris in your head for breaking up the moment. You allowed yourself to come back to your senses.
"Matt?" Chris' voice gurgled through the car. "Are you riding with y/n?"
Matt let out an irritated breath. "Yes, we're on our way. Bye." He said before abruptly hanging up the phone.
You kept your eyes focused ahead. If you looked at him, you weren't sure if you were going to slap him or pull his lips against yours.
He knew how stubborn you were and didnβt try to pull you back in again. Youβd just refuse this time. And he didnβt want to try to break your walls down all over again.
You didn't notice Matt had put on his music before putting the car into gear until you heard the first few beats to #icanteven by The Neighborhood playing.
The car began to move just as the lyrics sang "Just got cheated on..."
You shifted your gaze, trying to subtly glare at Matt. His grip on the wheel was a little too tight, jaw still clenched. But the corners of his mouth were twitching, fighting a grin as he turned the volume dial up.
It took you way too long to realize neither of you had said sorry for anything tonight.
