It didn’t hurt that he reminded her of the big forest cats she lived with for a time. Skipping forward, girl goes to chirrup a greeting, but as Exarch comes closer to her sight...

..... .. . . .. . Are those... Marbles...? Painful flashbacks comes to Marry. Sore, sore teeth and a horrible choking feeling. Girl starts to run, to stop the scene unfolding in front of her.

“Exarch...!!! No!” 

She manages to shout, but far too late. And then she plummets face forward into the dirt.

Kanon perks up, noting the familiar smell of... cakes... and coffee! That’s her special talent, being able to find cafes just by smell. It really isn’t that impressive, though other people always show amazement at her mentioning it. Looks like it came in handy, as the smell led her to a cafe! Sunflower Cafe, to be exact. Maybe she can try and relax in there... even if it’s not the same as Hazawa Cafe back home. She can’t afford to be picky right now.

She smiles to herself, at least hoping to buy a coffee... until she bumps into someone. She squeaks, falling on the ground. Ouch... oh. Oh, she bumped into a complete stranger! That’s a little embarrassing, but that’s besides the point!

“A-Ah, I’m sorry!”

She quickly scrambles herself up.

“I wasn’t paying attention at all, are you alright?”
