The progress is real tho

This will be mainly (or everything..) before the events in the game.

So , when Ewon was in the clan , she was more of a loner. Her parents got killed by human bandits therefore she had problems with humans. The keeper, Deshanna Istimaethoriel, took care of her. She was young when it happened, but she could still hold a grudge. This is for this reason that she was one of the best huntress in the clan. she had a best friend, Kalen, and they always competed agaisnt each other but they trusted each other more than anything. Kalen was the only one that Ewon really liked with the keeper.

From their location, they could attack bandits pretty easily and there were apostates hideout near of the clan , Ewon had no problem with them and were actually fascinated by magic. She is not scared of magic of any sorts.

One day , there was a convoy passing trough the valley, near of the clan. Ewon thought they were bandits. So, Ewon gave a challenge to Kalen : ‘‘ I can assure you I can kill them faster than you’‘ . Of course, Kalen took the challenge . They killed each two men, one was left. Apparently, he was a guard to the son of a duke near here. He swore vengeance before taking off. Ewon didn’t give much thought of course. She didn’t care about some humans. The day after. Ewon and Kalen were gone hunting early in the morning and when they came back to the clan , it was full of humans. 

Ewon hurriedly went to the keeper’s side , she was talking to a human, who looked rich enough. They were talking about a deal.

‘‘ We had a deal elf. Did you forget?’‘ , asked the human.

‘‘ No , I did not Duke . However, ‘tis was not my decision .’‘ , answered Deshanna.

Ewon immediatly knew what this was about. The men, that Kalen and her had killed yesterday. The duke was a kind man. He said that if the culprit was to admit his errors or gave his life it was only a fair trade.

Kalen and Ewon looked into each other eyes. They knew what they had to do. However, Ewon was the only one with the courage to do. She steped up before the man. She admitted she killed the men all by herself.

The keeper asked Ewon to go with the man. Ewon understood but it still hurt to see that she would do that without any second thoughts.

The duke made her a slave. At first, he treated her badly. But it didn‘t last. Sure, from time to time she had a smaking but it was only to keep face in front of the nobles guests and mostly because Ewon protected the others slaves by taking the blame for everything. The duke had another son, and he was kind to everyone. Although, he prefered Ewon among all the household. There was a rumor that he was in love with Ewon. But Ewon discarded the rumor pretty quickly.

One day, the castle got attack, the duke died . His son died too, but not before telling his love to Ewon. Having nowhere to go, she returned to the clan, but she didn’t feel like she was part of it anymore.
