Okay, gonna go on a bit of a ramble here but bare with me
So basically my oc/persona (idk) is (from what the people who meet her know) a Potato that has evolved into a ‘higher being’ and now looks mostly human, apart from the one black and red eye and half white hair. She goes by ‘Potato’ or ‘Evo’ and looks like a 17-ish year old girl but definitely has the emotional maturity of a 10 year old. (and honestly acts like one too) She likes to cause general chaos (I’ll expand on why later) and has an odd obsession with chewing on or trying to eat basically everything. (also will be expanded on later) She tends to have a bit of a short fuse and overreacts to typically minuscule events. (usually in a destructive way) But that’s not the whole story…
Lets start from the beginning;
About 516 million years prior to current-day Potato, there’s an itty-bitty little cosmic space parasite floating around in the middle of space. And yup, you guessed it! That’s Potato :)
So this little space parasite (along with TRILLIONS of others just like it) was created by who-knows-what and distributed into our galaxy (the others are in other galaxies dw lol) with one goal in mind; destroy it all! Now see, if the parasite immediately tried to destroy the galaxy as a lil baby it would just end up tearing itself apart so it’s gotta wait a few billion years until it’s mature/strong enough, so as a kind of safety measure the parasite won’t really know what to do until that time and instead act like a very aggressive/destructive child (hence the chompy chomps)
Anyways, back to space Potato. Fast forward a couple hundred million years and our lil parasite gal lands on earth! Seeking a food source and a strong host, the lil menace latches onto the current strongest and most sustainable living organism there… being a potato… yea. Fast forward another 9,000-ish years of observing humans and ‘evolving’ her body to look somewhat similar and maturing a bit more we have current-Potato! Yayayyayayay!
Thankfully she’s not mature enough to destroy the galaxy yet, that won’t happen for another couple million years, but her chaotic and destructive nature is still present! Causing her and all her 10-yo-maturity-level to try and eat things that aren’t edible, like cameras or cups! (see there’s a good reason @bat-news and @anonymousglassofwater!!) She is also not good with handling her emotions and naturally gets angrier or more aggressive/destructive about things, even impacting herself sometimes (hence the hair/feathers incident with @toadpolliwog) This is partly to do with her having the emotional maturity of a 10 year old but also because of her being cosmic space parasite that wants to destroy everything!!
But yea! That’s some Potato lore!! Hope you enjoyed my rambling!
Edit: I never really specified but the reason she acts like a 10 year old is because she is basically that maturity level in her species
