Ok so I like to think of The Watchers as really ancient deity's that just have been forgotten about by the years ya know? Like those old religious beliefs, traditions, history like ancient Rome, some legends etc. Because they are quite literally there from probably the beginning of the servers, and they are technically just a myth to most, so it's logical that people would stop telling the younger generations their story, bit by bit, they'd be forgotten about.

And by that logic, I think that no one, not even Xisuma would recognize a Watcher

So Grian could quite literally transform right in front of them, wip out his big ass 5 meter long, each, purple wings, have millions of very eery glowing eyeballs around him and be adored in the most prestigious, over-the-top, silky purple gowns and no one would suspect anything.

Or at least anything Watcher related, because there's probably would be theories of him being an alien or a shapeshifter...

Which is another headcanon of mine:

Grain is a shapeshifter!

Except, he wasn't always one.

At first he was a human, was born a human and stayed human up until high school and a little after.

It was on Evo when that changed.

I like to think that when The Watchers kidnapped took him with them, the transformation of going from a human to a Watcher doesn't just consider of having additional powers and wings that The Watchers have, because I like to think that they aren't just angel-look-alikes. They are eternal beings from over the world, and they technically don't have any shape at all. They can change into any shape or form they want to. That's just how they are. They are translucent, they can be anything and nothing at all. They are always somewhere and nowhere.

Because they see everything but no one sees them.
