Well, any day was a potentially long one with them. They were all three of them a massive bundle of triggers, trauma, and any number of varying unfortunate energy levels from one day to the next. But-- that was why they worked, even now. They understood each other in ways that other people couldnβt. Some might say that they were the least well adjusted of those who had survived Gekkokan High and what happened there but... at least they were surviving.Β
And-- most times they were happy. Shinjiro wasnβt very good at offering affection. Sometimes heβd sit alone and read or get lost in his head for long periods of time. Even before Minako had come back and his and Akihikoβs worlds had had to change drastically yet again, it would be hard for anyone to tell that he was dating somebody.Β
Now though, there was a sense of unity that he realized that they had lost, likely all those years ago.Β
Though he rarely initiated it, Shinji was more than happy to give in when Mina or Aki wanted well. Anything. His joy was in giving them their heartβs desires, and so it took not even a slight bit of effort to scoot over and open his arms to her.Β
