There were about ten or so small samples of tea in the bag the Black Mage had offered to the Summoner, and he was just about to finish listing them of.

“...and this one here, with the yellow tag, is a tea made from a special desert flower found in Thanalan. It has a sweet smell and is quite invigorating - Some of the locals even claim it can cure small wounds and illnesses! And this one with the light blue tag is quite the oddity too, it’s a blend of several flowers that grow in extreme cold, and it’s similarily refreshing to drink! And then this one here...”

Yes, someone was clearly passionate and excited about tea, and more than happy to share it with a friend. The last tea however is one he probably didn’t quite think through when he packed this bag...

“And lastly, the satchet with he pink tag contains a tea made of Cardamon, La Noscea Lillies and Edelweiss, and is said to enhance one’s... uhm... w..well... to enhance... one’s lust...”

The last words come out much more quiet than the enthusiastic speech just now, barely more than a whisper even. And accompanying them is a slight blush on the cheeks of a Burmecian that tries to avert his gaze, slightly embarrassed.

He has not seen his mother since, but given that Burmecia was destroyed and their kind almost wiped from existence, he considers it prudent to presume her dead.      The overwhelming surprise upon this banquet was not so much the number of women that had been summoned forth as warriors -- women were, after all, commonly seen in combat roles in Eorzea: it was how a number of them appeared so fair and delicate, more akin to the handmaidens of Ishgard than the more combative women of the Temple Knights or Knights Dragoon.

     It would do well then to get to know them and their strengths so he would not insult them. To be summoned here clearly meant one was skilled, did it not? So then he would do better to treat them as fellow warriors than be thrown off guard by appearances.
