A long night followed by a long day - a rainy day too, accommodating to his mood. Well not that the day was over already, but to make it to the end another caffeine stop was necessary. It was a rough night, mostly tossing and turning - the more he needed the sweet relief of caffeine once again.
Rick entered a nearby café, glad to get out of the rain, his hair wet enough already. Not wasting any time to get what he needed, he walked straight towards the point of sale. On his way he bumped into another, who was on their way to have a seat at a nearby table.
"Ugh- watch yourself!" Rick hissed at the other, to him inconspicuous, character. "Oh great," he thought after their drink made its farewell to the hard floor and took a quick glance upwards, "another Rick." His other self looked rather battered. Anyway - all he wanted was his caffeine. He wasn't in the mood to care and he would find out how the other would react, if they would at all.
Beside his annoyed look he moved past the other rather carefree. The café wasn't well visited right now anyway.
36 was silently standing at the cafe counter, waiting for his order.
Coffee. Black. Hot. Using the strongest brew they had available.
He heard the door open - the rain outside becoming louder as someone else entered the quiet cafe. He didn't pay them any mind, since he wasn't currently working a job or otherwise trying to keep a close eye on his surroundings. Also the area they were in wasn't exactly known for being too dangerous.
He received his order, taking it as the barista behind the counter handed it across the counter. He thanked them before turning around, planning to have a seat and enjoy his drink before having to go back out into the rain. Insead, he ran into someone. Or rather, from his perspective, someone ran into him. Did they not see him standing there or?!
And to add insult to injury, his coffee had been knocked out of his hand, crashing to the floor in a splash of hot liquid. And for 36, a bit of heartbreak. They both happened to look up at each other from the spill at the same time. 36 was a bit surprised to see another Rick; while the other man just seemed annoyed, vocalizing the fact out loud. However, 36's surprise turned to annoyance as well as the other man breezed past him, ignoring the fact that he'd just ruined his drink.
"Wh...H-hey!" He turned to face the man who had now stepped up to the counter. "Y-you're not e-even going to apologize? Y-you owe me a drink!"
