Shorts Boy 2.0!
It's been two years since I've designed Just Dance Main Cast as cats. My arts tyle has improved A LOT in that time, my understanding of anatomy got much better too.
In comparison to the old design, this one has better colors, the blues work nicely together and me using a more yellow gold makes it pop instead of making everything look more muddy. When it comes to the design overall, I didint change much as I felt it worked great, mostly improved the fur shape and made sure to make him look much fluffier! I just love fluffy kitties <3
I also gave him his braid! Last time, drawing hair was intimidating to me. It always looked too flat. I made the braid goldish, mostly so It would pop out a lot more!
His eyes got an update too, the old color, even though was more canonical, was a little too dark for me, this lighter gray, practically silver, is a nice third color and doesn't blend in much with the blues.
I'm planning on redrawing Jack Rose next, let's see how he turns out!
