You’re going to have to settle for a slightly lukewarm take, and one not strictly related to roleplaying I’m afraid... I just can’t really think of any right now ( which is nice, it’s nice that nothing’s annoying me in this community right now~ ).
Ok, here it is:
I think it sucks that the Final Fantasy VII remake is being released at a time where the gaming industry is a putrid, slimy place.
I mean I understand why-- They’ll get more money by chopping it into parts like this and throwing them out at a yearly rate. They’ll get to sell DLC for each part too. It’ll be a massive cash injection. And then when the second part comes out, they can sell both parts as a package. And the third! Rinse and repeat.
I just think its kind of scummy. And I’m glad I don’t really care about VII as much as some other titles so I won’t have to spend exorbitant amounts on it.
