#KFlay's lyrics on #everywhereissomewhere have been hitting me real hard this month. #HighEnough was my theme from August-November (specifically the RAC remix). #Giver is telling my story right now. Nearly every line speaks for me. This part of #Dreamers has felt empowering in times when I am feeling more on the positive side of things. The album was pretty background for me a lot of this year because it was released early on, and half the songs came out on an EP prior to the release. #YouFeltRight was my jam from the release of the #CrushMe EP, and was kinda my theme the first half of the summer. #HollywoodForever tells the story of my past few years. Damn though, to say it's gotten me through this December would be an understatement. "You gotta do some things on your own." I haven't made an #aoty list (yet?) but it would likely be #2 for me. May have jumped over Portugal. The Man for #1 given this newfound deep emotional connection to the lyrics. I dunno. This wasn't meant to be an #albumoftheyear post. Moreso an appreciation post. I appreciate "Every Where Is Some Where" a lot, even though she only raps in like 1 song (evolution, baby) and I nearly always skip 1 specific song. Yay K.Flay! She's freakin awesome.
