I shot this clip in of Michael Franti in the fall of 2000, it is a song from the then unreleased "Stay Human" album on -Anti Records.  It was recorded in Dolores Park, San Francisco September 16 2000. The event was the 911.2000 concert, a precursor to Power To The Peaceful Festival, held to focus attention on the country's corruption prone prison industrial complex, fed by the war on drugs and its mandatory minimum sentencing policy.The stage backdrop was a banner of a quote by Mumia Abu Jamal, and speakers included the lone survivors of the Philadelphia police attack on MOVE headquarters Pam Africa & Ramona Africa. 911.2000 also included an art tower, dj stages, a meditation tent, artwork by renowned artist, Rigo, and graffiti muralists exhibiting their skills live, plus booths rfrom more than 50 non-profit organizations. Also on hand will be the "Wall of Stolen Lives," photo  tribute sponsored by The October 22 Coalition that listed people killed by law enforcement.-
