Everyday Representation (3/3)
I believe the shoe is directly related to identity, with the colors on the shoe mirroring the person's personality and style. The circular designs on the front and rear of the shoes indicate my harmony, the pink represents compassion, the white represents safety, and the gray signifies quietness. The representation of the shoes filtered out sameness because they were designed to be a sense of individualism. They are not intended to be used to compare oneself to others. The shoes contain some misrepresentation of my identity with the neon yellow, which represents vibrancy. I don't consider myself vibrant and look at it as a color I admire. I believe the shoes are successful in representing identity and determining a person's interests and style. Furthermore, the shoes symbolize my identity and attitude and challenge my ability to mix and match apparel to match the shoes or randomize my shoes to match my mood for the day.
