Saturday trek to the javits center for The NY Times travel expo. Great chats with the different booths on places I’ve been and stayed in their countries. English bay, sunset beach, Myeongdong, Seoraksan, Taipei Main station, joburg, Cape Town. And some I’m hoping to be in like Bahia and Jasper. Must’ve said thanks in at least 3 languages. Little trip around the world in Javits and the funny part is not having taken the subway in a week, the sights, sounds and stench of the train and platforms seemed new again to the senses.
