It would be lovely to live in a world that accepts people's sexuality for who they are. A world that does not judge or discriminate others but in a messed up world like this one, telling people about your sexuality tends to feel like hanging yourself especially if acceptance is what one wants. Being LGBTQI+ in a world that judges before knowing your story can feel like being in a catastrophic dream. It is like dying for being yourself. As the nation there is still so much knowledge that needs to be passed on regarding the LGBTQI+ community. There is a lot of work that needs to be done by everyone with regards to educating each other that being LGBTQI+ is not a choice that one makes when they wake up in the morning. The world still needs to understand that "coming out of the closet" should not be to be accepted by anyone. It should rather be to be supported and known for who you are. Respect them, not only during their month of love. Treat them with the same kindness that you treat everyone with. Understand who they are, not where they come from because the choices that they made weren't based on their circumstances. Being LGBTQI+ is being 100% LGBTQI+. Why judge them for who they are and knowing what they want?
