These Antipasto Skewers are a perfect combination of flavors and textures, making them a crowd-pleasing appetizer. They're easy to prepare and ideal for any gathering.
Ingredients: 12 cherry tomatoes. 12 fresh mozzarella balls. 12 slices of prosciutto. 12 pitted green olives. 12 pitted black olives. 12 slices of salami. 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar. 1/4 cup of extra-virgin olive oil. 2 cloves of garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to make the marinade. Thread one cherry tomato, one mozzarella ball, one slice of prosciutto, one green olive, one black olive, and one slice of salami onto each skewer, repeating until you have 12 skewers in total. Place the assembled skewers in a shallow dish and drizzle the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, turning occasionally to coat evenly. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the mozzarella begins to melt and the prosciutto becomes slightly crispy. Remove the skewers from the grill and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve your Antipasto Skewers as a delicious appetizer or snack.
