Here’s the headcanon for @phantomjeans, who I hope likes all the fluff!

What If Hikari Got Pregnant?

*To be clear, Hikari is very on-top of her birth control

*She had an IUD put in, and an implant inserted, well before running away from home and joining the Straw Hats

*So if she ever did get pregnant?

*Woo boy

*‘Chaos’ would be an understatement

*Zoro would have a panic attack, Kid would start cursing, Luffy would be so excited for another kid to play with, Law would be going through every possible complication of pregnancy on an endless loop

*Hikari would definitely be worried, having never been pregnant before and knowing the dangers of their lives, but focus more on comforting her boyfriends

*Their crews would not react better

*Nami would cry, Robin would be making a list of pregnancy books, Franky would start on blueprints for a nursery with cannons and lasers, Usopp would be running around in circles screaming, Sanji would die of despair, Bepo would want to know how humans make babies, Shachi and Penguin would already be planning out how to be the Best Uncles, Killer would need a drink, and all the kids would be super excited to get another little sibling

*Hikari would get everyone under control eventually, and they’d all be excited once the news really sinks in

*Luffy would just be bouncing around with glee, even though Hikari made it clear he won’t be around any baby unsupervised until said baby can run away from him

*Zoro would start training even more, like he’s suddenly got a deadline to be the World’s Greatest Swordsman, and get super clingy with Hikari

*Kid would be super nervous about touching Hikari for a while, not wanting to hurt her or the baby on accident, but once she smacks him upside the head, he’d be fairly clingy and snappish at anyone who approaches ‘too quickly’

*Law would basically be a bundle of neuroses

*As a doctor, he would take it upon himself to make sure Hikari and the baby are healthy, worrying incessantly about what could happen

*Pregnancy on its own can be full of complications, let alone a pregnancy in the middle of the Grand Line on a pirate ship

*Thankfully, Hikari would catch onto this when Law Scans her for the third time in twenty minutes

*It would take a lot of reassurance, and multiple promises to be careful, for Law to somewhat settle and really start on a plan to baby-proof all three of their vessels on top of all the prenatal care Hikari will need

*When Hikari got into the first symptoms of the first trimester, mostly morning sickness and cravings, everyone would mobilized to accommodate

*Sora would use her abilities to help ease the nausea while Law and Chopper worked on a medicinal remedy

*Sanji would work day and night to make the most amazing food catered to her fluctuating desires and distastes, Luffy happily eating the failures

*Once settled, Hikari would begin to nap more often, with Zoro and Kid joining in like overprotective gargoyles

*When she starts to show after a few weeks, the body aches would set in, and Law would make a point of giving her a full-body massage every morning

*Franky and Kid would tag-team making an ultrasound machine, so Law could check there were no issues with the baby on top of figuring out gender

*None of them would really care if the baby is a boy or a girl

*They don’t even care to figure out the biological father, figuring they’ll all take care of them just like all the other kids

*But if that ultrasound reveals multiples?

*Oh dear

*Law might faint

*Jaws would drop all around

*Luffy would be ecstatic

*Hikari would be knitting at super-speed from then on, making every sort of clothing a baby might need in as many sets as possible

*The more Hikari shows physically, the more long-suffering she would become at her boyfriends’ antics

*At the first kick, Luffy would practically be glued to her belly, encouraging the baby to ‘train’ so they’ll be strong once they’re born

*Zoro wouldn’t leave her side for a moment, constantly on-alert for danger

*Like Luffy, Kid would be absolutely enthralled by the movements of the baby, always taking a chance to press his palm against the curve of her belly and carrying Hikari from place to place in order to facilitate those touches

*As her doctor, Law would be on top of every aspect of her health, fussing worse than any mother-hen about how much she eats, how well she sleeps, how much she aches

*The only thing that would calm him is listening to the baby’s heartbeat, and Hikari would make sure he can press an ear to her growing belly at night so Law actually gets some sleep

*But the closer Hikari’s due-date gets, the more anxious everyone gets

*Hormones are going strong, and her mood-swings would only be exacerbated by strong draconic instincts

*Hikari would very much be in a ‘nesting’ phase within the last weeks, grabbing every available pillow and blanket to hoard on their shared bed in a very particular way

*Luffy learned not to mess with it very early on

*Aching and sore and tired, Hikari would mostly stay buried in this physical nest and growl at anyone who disturbs her

*Law would then start putting all three crews through the procedure for when she goes into labor

*Once contractions start, the Thousand Sunny and Victoria Punk are going to be brought to a complete stop and put on high alert, while the Polar Tang, already converted to basically a floating hospital, would stay docked below for the duration of her labor

*If anyone dares to attack, be they pirates or marines, they will have many regrets

*Mostly because it’s only going to be Law and Chopper dealing with Hikari’s birthing process

*So there will be three very-stressed fathers-to-be, many soon-to-be-older-siblings, and crews of future-uncles-and-aunts to beat those idiots bloody

*Of course, when Hikari does go into labor, it would be during a Navy attack

*The World Government would not take any chances that her baby was the offspring of the most-likely future Pirate King

*It would also be just their luck that Red-Haired Shanks and Whitebeard would show up with their entire fleets to help the Supernova Alliance break free so Law could take a basically-collapsed Hikari down into the Tang before her water breaks

*Luckily, despite the last-minute stress, the birth would go smoothly and Hikari would soon be holding her baby, exhausted but content

*Law would technically be the first to hold their baby, in order to make sure they were healthy and cleaned up, and was pretty much gone immediately at the sight of those chubby cheeks and tiny fingers wrapping around his

*Luffy burst in next, too impatient to wait, and just immediately fell in love when the baby grabbed his nose and stretched it

*Kid just melted when that tiny hand grabbed onto his thumb, picking the baby up like they were a delicate piece of glass to coo over how strong they were already

*When Zoro first held the baby, he froze like a statue, at least until the baby started gumming on his fingers and he was just gone

*If the baby is a boy, they would likely bat around the names Ace, Sabo, and Lavan, the latter being Law’s father’s name

*For a girl, the options would be Nyoko (Hikari’s mother’s name), Kuina, Lami (Law’s sister’s name) and Lana (Law’s mother’s name)

E-Equal: Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

*Zoro is a laid-back kind of person when not in battle

*For him, being in control isn’t really important, though he won’t turn away the option when it’s offered

*Luffy, for example, calls the shots most of the time, though in more intimate situations, he looks to Zoro for some level of guidance, especially in the bedroom

*Kid enjoys a certain amount of push-back every now and then, even if he always ends up on top in the end, and Zoro is often revved-up enough to indulge him

*While Law lets Luffy and Hikari take charge when it comes to their crews, he calls the shots in the relationship itself, one way or another, and Zoro hardly minds

*Hikari, in fact, tends to be so shy about physical intimacy most of the time-even just holding hands-that she lets the four of them take the lead rather than initiate

*So, Zoro is really somewhere in the middle with Luffy

M-Marriage: Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

*Zoro knows that using the word ‘marriage’ might be a dangerous idea

*Considering Hikari has been nearly forced into abusive marriages twice within a year, you can’t blame him for thinking so

*But to be honest, Zoro doesn’t see the point in getting married

*He already lives with the four people he loves, shares a bed with them, even shares his alcohol with them

*Getting married is the same thing, right?

*Zoro might consider making things official if he thought it would stop random assholes from trying to marry their girlfriend

*Or Luffy

*Zoro is still a little prickly about Hancock

*If the idea ever got stuck in his head, Zoro would probably bring it up to his boyfriends first

*Most likely very casually and out of the blue, like he was asking if they might be interested in stopping at a bar on the next island

*Law would have a heart attack

*Kid would not be far behind

*Luffy would have no idea what marriage is, and they would have to explain it to him

*Luffy would then also agree they’re already basically married

*This realization would actually cause Law to have a cardiac arrest

*The four of them would discuss actually proposing, if that was what they all wanted to do, and figure out how to go about it with Hikari

*Law would pretty much be the one planning the entire proposal

*Look at those faces, do you think the other three could plan out a letter, let alone an entire evening?

*Hikari, of course, would be suspicious from the very beginning

*Especially when everyone else immediately vacates the galley where there’s a nice candlelit dinner already set up that Luffy hasn’t scarfed down yet

*But Hikari would go along with it, just to see what they’re planning

*First thought? Luffy and/or Kid broke something really important, so everyone is hoping to butter her up before delivering the bad news

*But when dinner and dessert pass with no awkward admissions of guilt, Hikari would relax and enjoy the usual banter

*All five would then go out on deck to stargaze in their usual cuddle-pile

*Hikari would be caught completely by surprise when all four of them offer up pieces of jewelry, bracelets (silver from Law, gold from Kid) and earrings (a gold dangling type from Zoro, a silver stud from Luffy), and ask to make things ‘official’

*She would probably cry, the boys would freak out, Hikari would hiccup out that they’re happy tears and say yes while giving all of them a huge kiss

*The whole wedding, however, turns out to be a sensitive issue

*While Nami would be eager to plan a huge affair, Hikari would rather have something small and personal

*Zoro suspects it’s from her extravagant, but abusive, childhood and the likely huge weddings she had barely avoided already

*They end up getting married on the Sunny by Killer and Bepo, and have a week-long party that ends up including the Revolutionary Army, the Red-Haired Pirates, the Whitebeard Pirates, the Fire Tank Pirates, the Drake Pirates, the Bonney Pirates and the Fallen Monk Pirates

*Not to mention all of the islands the Straw Hats had ever been to

*But really, life itself doesn’t change much for any of them after the honeymoon

P-PDA: Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag about their boyfriends/girlfriend in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss, etc, when others are watching?

*Zoro is not shy about his relationship at all

*He won’t necessarily point it out to people, but he doesn’t hide it

*Anyone who has doubts about his significant others will learn very quickly just how badass they are, and how unwise it is to test a swordsman’s patience

*Especially on their ships, Zoro is open to kissing and cuddling and napping pretty much anywhere, no matter who can see

*But that sort of intimacy out on a random island? Zoro gets a bit flustered, which can result in threats of violence

*Luffy doesn’t even bat an eye, honestly, being used to how reserved so many of his lovers can be

*Kid finds it amusing, just like with Hikari, and will purposely kiss or grope him in public to get a reaction

*Law is rather like Zoro in being more private out on random islands, but open to the swordsman’s lazy affections otherwise

*So yeah, Zoro won’t necessarily shout from the rooftops that he’s in a relationship, but he’s normally not shy about it

A-Activities: What do they like to do with their boyfriends/girlfriend? How do they spend their free time together?

*Hikari tends to be content as a homebody

*Yes, their home is a ship, but that’s not the point

*As a dragon, her instincts prefer staying close to the ‘nest’, which is the Sunny

*So her favorite activities tend to be things like reading a book while cuddling in a hammock, or knitting while leaning against one of her boyfriends

*Considering all of their pretty bad childhoods, all five are big cuddle-bugs with varying levels of acceptance

*Luffy is usually hanging off her back like a monkey, or buried in her cleavage, sometimes napping with her boobs as a pillow, which Hikari has gotten very used to at this point

*Zoro will pull her onto his lap for naps, and Hikari usually takes the time to read a book if she’s not feeling like a nap herself

*Law is secretly a nerd, as we all know, and Hikari often collects coins to sift through with him for his collection, or they’ll read comics together in the secrecy of their cabin

*When Kid isn’t being so handsy, Hikari will hang out in his workshop, talking about whatever project he’s working on

*Other activities usually involve the ‘kids’, like joining Zoro in training Gina, or helping Chopper and Sora study whatever subject Law introduced them to, or supervising Luffy as he plays a game of Tag with Merry or Kid while he tests out whatever he built with Gina

*Really, though, Hikari’s favorite is when all five end up in a lazy cuddle-pile

I-Inspiration: Did their boyfriends/girlfriend change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things, or helping them overcome personal problems?

*When Hikari ran away from home, she was much more prickly

*Certainly a more sarcastic personality, trying to hide that she really cares a lot

*Meeting Luffy was the first step to her really opening up to humans after what happened to her mother and brother

*By the time they started the alliance with Law and Kid, Hikari was much more comfortable with showing her caring, nurturing side while still being the Adult of the Straw Hat Pirates

*It’s because of how Luffy and Zoro helped her that Hikari joined in influencing changes in Law and Kid

*Neither would ever admit it, but they were definitely calmer and happier after joining the relationship once everything settled

*So really, all of them influenced each other into healing, and the five of them are definitely better off

K-Kiss: Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

*Hikari tries not to think about if she’s a good kisser or not

*Either she does it spontaneously (usually when one of her boyfriends finds her a key) or is surprised by one of them giving her a kiss

*Kissing around others always flusters Hikari when she’s aware and not acting on impulse, so she’s very shy about reciprocating

*Luffy doesn’t mind at all, and kisses her whenever the impulse comes upon him

*To Luffy, she’s like the best candy in the world, all soft and sweet, and he just can’t resist

*Hikari tends towards lazy make-out sessions with Zoro, usually in the privacy of their cabin, and his sleepy wake-up kisses always give her butterflies

*Kid is honestly shameless, somehow more than Luffy, always going for deep, wet kisses no matter where they are or what’s going on at the time

*Hikari knows he does it because of how flustered she gets, but can’t help blushing and squeaking every time

*Punching Kid in the ribs does nothing to dissuade him

*Law is almost as private as she is, preferring short, sweet kisses if any when out on a new island or around strangers

*But among their crews, or when someone tries to make a move, Law is pointedly indulgent

*Much to her embarrassment, Hikari’s very first kiss ever was the one she gave Luffy back in Orange Town when he gave her that first silver key for Nikora

*Just like her first kiss with Zoro was in that weapons’ shop in Loguetown, when he gave her Moro’s key

*And her first kiss with Law, when he gave her a silver key not long after their alliance started...

*And then again with Kid, who saw what happened with Law and immediately went out to find a silver key for himself...

*Law, bless him, at least doesn’t bring that up

*Unlike the rest of them

*So Hikari doesn’t think she’s much of a kisser, but her boyfriends vehemently disagree

H-Honesty: Do they have secrets they hide from their boyfriends/girlfriend? Or do they share everything?

*Law planned to keep certain things secret going into this alliance, but that plan went under quickly

*Luffy and Hikari are way too perceptive to not notice anything 'off', after all

*Add in Hikari's own unwanted connection to Doflamingo, plus her much calmer and understanding temperament, and Law eventually caved like a house of cards

*Law told her about Flevance, about the Donquixote Pirates, about Cora-san

*Hikari listened through all of it, and at the end, hugged him until Law was out of tears

*She supported him in sharing all of it again with their boyfriends, which ended up being a session of commiseration from all of them about shitty childhoods

*From Luffy being raised by bandits and thinking he'd lost a brother, to Zoro's loss of the closest thing he had to a friend, and even Kid admitted to being messed up from growing up in the aftermath of the Navy sweeping through the South Blue 'detaining' pregnant women

*After that night, there were no secrets between any of them

I-Inspiration: Did their boyfriends/girlfriend change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things, or helping them overcome personal problems?

*Law knows very well that he's a very different person now than he was before this relationship

*There had always been a more calculated, clinical side to him, one that could skim over atrocities if it meant furthering his goals

*Being constantly exposed to the openly-altruistic Hikari and good-natured Luffy has certainly softened Law's stance on that sort of thinking

*He might gloss over that change by saying he's helping to avoid upsetting them, or because he'd be stuck doing it anyway once they found out, but eventually it's because his conscience won't let him ignore it anymore

*Being at the epicenter of Luffy, Zoro and Kid on an adventure has taught Law how to handle ever-changing crises that invariably derail even the most thorough of plans

*Law also feels more secure, knowing that not only do they have three very talented, unfailingly loyal crews, but that he has four strong significant others that have his back no matter the circumstances

*Add in becoming a ‘father’, a dream that had been buried just like Flevance, and Law knows he’s become fiercely protective of those kids, especially Chopper and Sora

*Those two are practically his shadows, and anyone who dares lift a finger against them is asking to become sashimi

*As a very private person, Law has become much more comfortable with showing his true feelings around their combined crews, and being open with his boyfriends and girlfriend about his thoughts

*Really, Law is a much happier, calmer, if grumpily-helpful person now, and he doesn't regret it

*Law, for all he's loosened up, is still a very private person

*Out on whatever island, he's much more guarded about his relationship, as if word might get back to Doflamingo

*But on their ships, where Law feels safest, he's not shy about initiating things in ‘private’

*By 'private', he means 'where there are no un-vetted strangers'

*So pretty much everyone on their crews has seen something

*Luffy doesn’t care about who is watching or where they are, but he laps up whatever attention Law gives him and will often race back to their ships for some quality cuddles

*Zoro is similar to him in keeping PDA on their ships, with his set routine of morning kisses and nap-time cuddles that Law enjoys joining in on, which are never subtle or hidden

*Kid is in ways even worse than Luffy, mostly because he has little restraint over his libido on a good day

*But there are times when Kid can settle, not trying to push the boundaries of Law’s patience, and he wouldn’t let a Sea King ruin those moments, let alone a bumbling crew-mate

*Initiating any sort of PDA with Hikari, however, was the highlight of Law’s day

*Because as self-assured and confident as she is most of the time, and how comfortable she is napping or sitting with them on lazy days, Hikari is adorably shy about blatant shows of affection

*Holding hands, shallow kisses, a gentle caress across a cheek; everything made her turn bright pink, which Law found horribly cute

*Really, all four of them made it a point to get their girlfriend all flustered at least once every day

*Law preferred catching her off-guard, when Hikari was distracted by doing inventory or just waking up in the morning, hugging her from behind and kissing her nose or forehead when she glanced up

*The way she’d squeak and try to hide against him was just too cute, and Law didn’t care who knew it

*Well, so long as whoever saw knew it was only for them

C-Comfort: How would they help their boyfriends/girlfriend when they feel down, have a panic attack, etc?

*Kid’s first reaction to anything hurting those he cares about is anger and violence

*That...doesn’t work against feelings

*For the most part, this isn’t a problem

*Luffy always bounces back from setbacks with a smile, after all, so there’s never been a need to try cheering him up

*Zoro mostly handles his negative feelings with training, and Kid has offered to spar more than once to help him blow off steam

*But when Law gets into one of his introspective moods, or Hikari has a visceral reminder of her abusive childhood, Kid has no idea what to do

*Because as much as Kid wants to punch Doflamingo’s face in, or rip apart every person that ever laid a finger on Hikari, that doesn’t help with how they feel in the moment

*Well, Law does seem to feel better when Kid details exactly how he would beat up Doflamingo, but that’s beside the point

*Once that initial flash-fire of rage has passed, Kid is super awkward and doesn’t really know what to say, especially with Hikari

*So he usually ends up pulling them into his lap and hugging until they fall asleep, silently imagining all of the pain he’ll dish out to the people responsible

*Law and Hikari appreciate him trying, as much as Kid can, and that’s enough

U-Understanding: How well do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

*For all that Kid will say he’s not into any ‘mushy’ stuff, he really is tied into the energy of  his boyfriends and girlfriend

*He gets swept up in Luffy’s excitement, in Zoro’s battle-lust, in Law’s deviousness, in Hikari’s mischievousness

*When Luffy is thoughtful, sitting on the figurehead, Kid will join him and fiddle with some little doodad

*When Zoro is napping, Kid will sit next to him and doze

*When Law is studying some medical journal, Kid will ask questions about what he’s doing, acting like a sounding board for the surgeon to bounce his thoughts off of

*When Hikari is knitting, Kid will pull her onto his lap and let her talk about whatever comes to mind, like who her latest project is for or whatever the crews got up to that day

*Kid won’t admit it, but he’s very in-tune with his lovers

*He’s just no good at voicing anything resembling feelings

*So you’d be forgiven for thinking Kid is an emotionally-stunted volcano of a human being

*You’d be wrong, but it’s an easy mistake to make

V-Value: How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?

*Kid had a shitty childhood

*The only real connection he had pretty much his entire life was Killer

*So ending up in a five-way relationship was, honestly, a positive change

*And anyone who tried to take any of them away from him was going to wish they ended up dead

*Kid loved his significant others fiercely, as much as he treasured his dream, but even that dream had intertwined with theirs

*In essence? I would not recommend testing the relationship

*Just...Just don’t

*He doesn’t like not having control over a situation to some extent

*For the most part, however, he allows Luffy to more or less chart their course and Hikari to rein their crews in

*One to preserve his sanity, and the other as a show of respect for her abilities

*But Law is definitely a dominant in their relationship, especially in the bedroom

*Luffy is flexible, being willing to go along with most things if they ‘sound fun’, not needing to be in control at every moment so long as he gets adventure, meat and cuddles

*Zoro, from long experience, follows along mostly because he knows there will likely be a good fight at the end of it, or at least quality nap-cuddles

*Kid is also a dominant personality, but found out early on he often enjoys the results of Law’s plans and joins in with wicked glee

*Hikari is actually surprisingly submissive in the context of their relationship

*While normally very confident and in-control with their crews, she willingly lets that control go with her boyfriends, which honestly gives Law a rush every time he notices it

*So with these five, Law usually ends up on top

G-Gratitude: How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their boyfriends/girlfriend do for them?

*Law is so grateful that he honestly doesn’t feel he can ever repay them

*Once joining this alliance, and relationship, he is very aware of how much healing he’s done from all the pain of losing his home and Cora-san

*Not to mention the unquestioning loyalty and support for his plans to take down Doflamingo

*But the little things probably get to him more

*How easily Luffy gives affection, like he knows exactly when Law needs a hug or a kiss

*How Zoro just trusts him, going along with whatever he plans without batting an eye, even if he often gets lost along the way

*How Kid can be so passionate but also gentle, like he's some delicate machinery that needs careful handling on those days when Law is too tired to reassert control

*How Hikari went through an equally-traumatic childhood and came out the other side determined to be better, always supportive and patient when Law knows he's being snappish

*So yes, Law is very aware of all they do for him and is extremely grateful for it

T-Thrill: Do they need to try out new things to spice up the relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

*In some ways, Law prefers consistency

*Knowing where his significant others are, what they're doing, calms him

*A certain rhythm to the day-waking up in their shared bed to morning kisses, eating meals together, sharing afternoon naps-is very reassuring, like a reaffirmation that they don't plan on leaving

*But there are times when Law gives into his nature as a D and does something more spontaneous

*Allowing Luffy free rein on an unknown island, catching Hikari off-guard with a surprise kiss, indulging Zoro's 'wandering', letting Kid test out whatever new machine he made

*In the bedroom, the only consistency is that Law is calling the shots

*So... Really, Law likes both routine and surprises, at least in certain doses
