I promise I havenโt bailed
Iโm currently a few days post-op. Yep! In all the chaos of new baby and my MIL moving in...I got to have major surgery. (Totally my luck!)
With that said life goes on. I was able to get some review stuff together for Munchkin to do and a new chapter book to start reading. My mom watched the girls and my MIL while I had surgery and for a few days after. She was able to keep up with school work (fun worksheets and reading) while I had surgery and rested. My dad stepped up and has been helping out since. I am extremely blessed to have a caring family who would do anything for each other. We are getting pumped up to go on a vacation to Florida next month. Sea World, swimming with dolphins and NASA. So of course we are turning our school work towards these areas. Today we worked on the solar system. I even typed up a story for Munchkin to read with tons of extra info that helped her correctly order the planets. This is what you are seeing in the first two pictures. Of course we canโt neglect other things so she also worked on telling time today as well.
