The Final Evaluation
This project was very meaningful. I learned a lot about team coordination. We first looked at the functionality of the stand booth. For example, creating partitions with a soft cloth that is easy to carry, and surrounding the booth with thin matte plastic. Thesideas were good at functionality, but lacked of fun. We came up with more interesting design ideas as a visual communicator. It was different for each member, and I thought it was difficult to take all the opinions and make it into a form.
Next, we discussed the designs and features that not only attracted people's attention, but also captured the core of Passenger. The discussion was very interesting, and for the first time I was able to explain my opinion equally to everyone.
Except for one thing, the students of the architectural design course were shy and not so active, so we were groping about how we could communicate. Though the ideas and designs were quite satisfactory, I think it was difficult to pursue functionality and reality.
If there was something that could be improved, the accuracy of the blueprints (since I created images that were not 3d models) I wanted a realistic opinion from a child of the architectural design course. Looking at the presentations of the other groups, I became interested again in the architectural design course. They are obviously designing from a different perspective. I'm convinced that the software they use and how they measure things will have a big impact on my work in the future.
If I have an opportunity to collaborate next, try to be more active with each other.
