There had been a time when Bryony would have counted Vespera amongst her close friends, but lately, she wasn't so sure that she trusted the younger Malfoy. There had been a change in her, and Bryony wasn't entirely sure she could put her finger on what it was. Perhaps she would speak with Lucius to make sure that all was right next time she ran into him. Or perhaps not. She didn't want them to think she was desperate for Vespera's friendship because she certainly wasn't. It was just strange.
"Champagne?" She offered the other, holding out the glass for Vespera. "It's the best drink that I've found tonight. I can tell that they did not splurge on their drink budget, but the champagne is rather palatable. It's unfortunate that they spent so much of their budget on making this place look not like the hospital that it is. They would have been better served to rent somewhere out, don't you think?"
