A fic concept I’ve been rolling around in my mind lately is an AU of the BloodyMary-concept where through space-time shenanigans (STS), Simon was transported to Erid before Ava went down to get him, and she subsequently survived.
Meanwhile, Eva Stratt, post-prison break, through the same STS Simon experienced, ends up in the Iron Lung universe. She is captured by the C.O.I. under assumption of being a member of Eden, and ends up under Ava’s control. But Ava quickly realizes that something is different about Eva, and the two team up to figure out if the astrophage had anything to do with their Quiet Rapture. It’s very dystopian grunkpunk femslash vibes (Evava? IronPrayer? How does StarSalvage sound? Lmk y’all’s thoughts).
Meanwhile every other chapter is about the hijinks Grace, Rocky, and Simon get up to on Erid in a very healing, soilpunk queerplatonic polycule thing.
