To answer the question, Rhee has a fan or some other kind of machine that produces white noise. Not so loud as to drown out all noise, but enough to settle her down. She can’t sleep when it’s too quiet. Quiet means that something is wrong. But also, I feel like she might have tinnitus or something similar, but I’m not sure. At one point I think I headcanoned that she was partially? deaf in one ear. I should find that.
