We came to this event with high hope of challenging the overall time attack track record of a 1.19.509. After starting out very strong with a 1.21.0 in the first session the whole team was feeling confident going into the rest of the day. With various problems plaguing us through out the rest of day 1 and a motor failure first session of day 2 it was not our event to challenge the record. we will still leave the event with our heads held high with the car showing tremendous pace right of the gate that lead to the teams first ever @globaltimeattack overall win. Our new splitter from @spage.sport and @stim.tech worked flawlessly providing the car with what would have previously been unimaginable levels of front grip. The new @garrettmotion gtx3584rs provided amazing power that allowed us too power through the new downforce levels (as well as drag) with virtually no change in top speed. The whole team will be hard at work preparing the car for the next event which will be @gridlifeofficial at @gingermanraceway coming up in a few weeks. Looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the car and dialing it in even further. We had lots of changes to test from the crazy new front end from @spage.sport and @stim.tech to some new changes with our ecu that @haltech_chris was looking after. We got there pretty late and didn’t turn many laps but the data collected was fantastic and was very necessary for our trip to @globaltimeattack at @roadatlanta next week. The car has the pace to be foolishly fast but I will definitely have to relearn how to drive it as it’s a whole different animal now!
