I'm patiently waiting for the sprigs I cut off my Pothos plant to root. After some research, I decided to put some of it in our snake terrariums to improve their environment. If only human life were so easy to improve.

It's getting closer to the day when I start getting some financial relief on my life. Other things are a bit...off kilter still. I think it's at least even keel most of the time, but the moments it isn't leave an uncomfortable pressure within me. I don't think pressure is the right word, but I'm also not sure the right word exists.

Sometimes the pressure throbs behind my eyes. Sometimes it sits on my back. I notice it in my ears like cotton, the outer edges red and burning; then I realize I'm clenching my jaw. The muffled sounds stop, the burning doesn't.
