/skids into your ask box at the mention of inquisition
can we see your inquisitor.
you sure can! i've only been playing this game for like. 10 hours. most of which i spent trying and failing to find those fucking wolves in the hinterlands.
anyway meet Cianán Ilraine Lavellan, he's a budding necromancer (but not a Weird One, he promises, he mostly magically preserves meat for travel and helps tend to the sick and dying, and/or wards off restless spirits around elven artifacts) and First of Clan Lavellan, he's not Andrastian and wishes people would stop calling him the Herald but it's either accept it or get thrown back in the stocks (at best). (then again, Cassandra would probably come visit him, so he wouldn't mind too much.) idk much about him yet aside from the fact that he's much more comfortable when he doesn't have to draw attention to himself, which is not jiving very well with this whole holy prophet thing that's happening. he's also very proud of being Dalish but likes getting the chance to experience the world outside of his clan (who are already pretty friendly with humans, as far as the Dalish go).
also unbeknownst to him he has a first cousin once removed in Nevarra City who's like, sixteen years old and sitting through her Burial Rituals and Sepulchring Traditions of the Towers Age lecture in the Grand Necropolis right now while the senior Watchers debate whether to close the gates to all but the funerary dead for the first time in the institution's history, for the safety of their young students.
