Another long day of work was over, and Danny couldn’t feel happier. Most people thought that writers had it easy; they thought they could just laze around all day, but they were very wrong. They had meetings to go to, and that constant need to write something new, while attempting to finish something they’d begun writing so long ago, but that they were forced to write. It was quite stressful, but the girl didn’t have the patience to take a long bath, either, to make it better; a hot shower would have to suffice.
Stripping off her clothes on her way to the bathroom, she was quick to turn on the hot water as she reached the room, not even caring that the door was open as she stepped under the warm spray, her eyes falling closed as her muscles relaxed under the continuous drops that crashed against her body. She didn’t move for quite a while, just enjoying the feeling of the liquid washing down her skin, but, then, she heard the shuffle, and her eyes snapped open to see a shadow over the curtain of the bathtub. She held her breath in, scared, before the curtain was pulled back and she exhaled in relief. “Jesus Christ, you scared me,” she mumbled as Eva stepped into the shower with her. Immediately, Danny pulled the woman close to her, eyes quickly scanning over her body as her hands attached to her bottom. She leant up to kiss the woman’s lips, but stopped, her own lips brushing slightly against hers in a smirk as she spoke. “I could really use a massage…”

In response to Eva's reaction to Danny sneaking out because of reasons...
She tried to be as quiet as possible as she slipped away from the woman she’d been lying with, until then; she wasn’t sure what to make of yet another of her sex escapades, and therefore she didn’t want to bother hoping that something more would come out of it. Who was she fooling, really? Eva was her former principal, an older woman way out of her league; she didn’t even know why she’d bothered to stay, so far. Except, she knew; she knew she liked the feeling of the woman’s lips on hers, the sound of her voice running through her ears, the feeling of her fingers pressed against Danny’s skin in the least innocent way possible. She liked it all, perhaps a little too much.
She’d just started buttoning up her shirt when she heard that voice; the one that so easily lured her into doing anything, no matter how much Danny’s rationality tried to stop her. For a moment, she hesitated. She’d asked her to stay; she wanted her to stay. However, before she could give in, she sighed and continued doing the buttons of her shirt, and then stood up, grabbing her pants and putting them on quickly. Even when Eva repeated her whisper of the word “Stay”, Danny knew not to give in; she needed to go, before the attachment grew much too strong. Slowly, she sighed once more, before starting to walk around the bedroom in search for her shoes, and the rest of her things.
When she’d gathered everything, smoothed down her hair in a swift motion, trying to undo the knots that always managed to weave their way to her brown locks of hair, before putting on her shoes, still in silence. After, she gave her clothes a soft brush with her hand, half because she just wanted to hear the woman tell her to stay, just one more time; that would’ve been enough to make her stay. Instead, however, she heard the resignation in her voice as she told her to go; the tone made Danny stare at the beautiful woman on the bed for a few seconds, but she knew she couldn’t stay longer, or she’d never be able to leave.
Biting her bottom lip, she opened her mouth to say something, anything, but she couldn’t; she wasn’t sure what words to use. Instead, she just looked down and grabbed her purse, walking to the door and walking outside the room quietly. Once the door was closed behind her, she started taking small steps towards the exit, but she realized she couldn’t do it; not after having heard the way Eva’s voice had sounded when she’d asked her to stay. With a sigh, she looked up at the ceiling, knowing she was already in too deep; she’d dug herself another grave.
After a few seconds of standing there, she slipped off her shoes, leaving them by the front door, and then silently walked back into the room. She didn’t know what to expect, but she knew that, no matter what it was, she just had to do what she had planned in her mind; and so she did. Without hesitating, as this was much easier than even the thought of walking away, she opened the door to the room and quietly shut it once more, slipping out of her shirt after undoing the buttons and wiggling her jeans away from her legs, placing both items by the end of the bed. Still silent, she lifted the sheet that was still over Eva and shuffled under it, laying on her side, facing the woman.
"I’m sorry," the younger whispered, an arm draping over her abdomen as she nuzzled into her side. She closed her eyes, then, a sense of peace falling over her just like the sheet was, and she kissed Eva’s shoulder lightly, allowing it to linger.
