please dont.... just dont allow 16 year olds to vote omg. I am 16 and the amount of people in my year who have not researched what they would be voting for is painful.... We had a fake vote last year and so many people voted UKIP for a laugh or actually thought UKIP was great (and a majority of my year thought the vote was real which makes me want to cry XD )

Also if I was given the vote for this referendum, yes I would vote to stay in the EU. I have researched the benefits that it gives people my age and more and a lot of my classmates have not... They believe we should leave the EU and have given incorrect reasons (that they have most likely learnt from parents, other ignorant classmates or have typed it in on the internet and clicked on a yahoo answers link)

And the people who share the same view as me find it difficult to express their opinion without getting lashed at. From what I have seen in my year is that we seem to be easily persuaded or pressured into an opinion which we dont understand yet adopt it anyway as we haven’t learnt anything else.
