1996 This is me on London on my first month long Euro trip. My backpack weighed at least 50lbs. My friend Bob Fisher dropped me off at the airport in Los Angeles. As Bob was driving away, I put my backpack on I fell backwards onto the ground. Bob saw me out of his rearview window and came to assist me. How I made it through Europe this way, I am not sure. I opt for wheels these days. What’s in the bag? A camera, rolls of film, a walkman with at least 10 mixtapes, a 1072 page @roughguides Rough Guide….a travel alarm clock, body alarm, journal, pens, pencils, travelers cheques…Oh and as you can see, I am holding my Filofax. An essential 90’s planner… THIS IS WHY MY NECK STILL HURTS! I flew @virgin AND, the @spicegirls were on that first Transatlantic trip of mine. I did not yet know who they were, but they definitely had a presence—that star quality… Oh…nostalgia, you get me every time. Thank you for the photo Nina!
