I told her that I found her old book when she came into the room, "The Textbook of Cosmetology," and her face was priceless! She said it's the book she bought in Singapore circa the year when my mom was still in primary school, which she forgot precisely what year. Begun with the discovery of this old book, she went on telling me that she used the book when she took a cosmetology class. "You took a school, Eunin? (That's how I, and all my cousins, call her as). "No, it was only a week of seminar. I wouldn't take such school - it would take a year at least, and I could not bear to stay so distant from Eungkie (my grandpa)." She used to bring along her certificate she got from this seminar and even displayed it in the beauty bar she once run. "People who came always had been so in awe when they knew that I had attended the seminar in Singapore, it's a pity though that I somehow lost it.
