YO we do. I have the day off thursday but i have a hair dresser’s appointment lmao i’m gunna be waiting foEVERRRRR. But I will see you there! Maybe we can meet up some time over the long weekend so we can wallow in Post-Concert Depression together.

THE BLURB YOU REQUESTED

You huffed, pulling at the pink and yellow floral dress you neighbour had picked out for you to wear. It was too short and too black and the ridiculous strappy black flats you were wearing with it didn’t even match. You were going to murder Ashton for his fashion sense alone let alone for what he was making you do. 

You braved the walk across the street to his house, cars lined up and down the street, parked in his driveway and on his front lawn. You gulped. Ashton had not meant the entire population of New South Wales would be here. ‘I’m outside’ You texted him as you stood at the bottom steps of the Irwin’s front porch, too scared to ring the doorbell or knock on the door in case someone that wasn’t Ashton, his siblings or mother would open the door. 

Well, it was like the entire universe wanted to see you curl over and die - because Ashton did not come to the door and instead an old lady complete with white hair and grey knitted sweater who you assumed to be the infamous Grandma wondered out of the front door. She was grinning from ear to ear and it was very clear that this was where Ashton had inherited his award-winning smile from. 

“Oh!” She practically squealed and your eyes were wide with fear. “Hello, my love. You must be the girlfriend we all keep hearing about.” Your stomach lurched. 

“Uh.” You gulped yet again. “Yes?” The woman laughed, waving you closer so you climbed the stairs painfully slow. 

“I’m Grandma.” She introduced herself complete with a kiss on your cheek. “I’ll go get Ashton for you.” As soon as she disappeared int the house, Ashton came bounding out with a grimace. 

“Grandma got to you first, didn’t she?” He sighed as he reached for your hand and as you glared up at him and his stupid curly hair. 

“You. Owe. Me.” You shot at him in a whisper-yell while he took your hand in his and you tried to ignore how sweaty your palms were and how the contact was setting off butterflies in your stomach. 

“What for this time?” He asked, refusing to look at you which made you wonder if he knew exactly what for. You stopped in your tracked, right before the pair of you had reached the kitchen where everybody was. 

“Girlfriend?!” You would have shrieked that at him if it weren’t for the fact that A) you were already as red as a tomato and B) You were trying like hell to not be seen right now. You were not angry, really, but confused. When Ashton finally looked at you with a sheepish and cheesy grin, your harsh glare turned into a pained pout. “Why me?”
