Hassan Aziz Hassan, noto anche come Nabil Hassan Aziz Hassan (22 febbraio 1924 – 17 aprile 2000) è stato un principe egiziano. Fu uno degli ultimi membri sopravvissuti della dinastia Muhammad Ali (l'ultima famiglia reale d'Egitto). Deteneva il titolo di "El-Nabil" (il principe nobile, in arabo), che era anche il suo nome alla nascita. Dopo aver studiato a Beirut e in Inghilterra presso la Leighton Park School, è stato pittore e pianista ed è stato uno studente e amico intimo del pianista polacco espatriato Ignaz Tiegerman e degli artisti Fabrizio Clerici e Leonor Fini che lo ritrassero. Hassan è nato a Sanremo, in Italia, pronipote del Khedive Ismail e cugino del re Farouk d'Egitto, l'ultimo re del paese. Suo padre, il principe Aziz, fratello del re Fuad I, fu uno dei fondatori del partito Wafd e sua madre era spagnola. Aveva due sorelle, la principessa Khadijah e la principessa Aicha, e un fratello, Ismail. A differenza di molti altri membri della famiglia reale egiziana, rimase in Egitto dopo la rivoluzione egiziana del 1952, vivendo in un appartamento con una delle sue sorelle, con la quale non parlò per anni. Condition: The canvas is generally sound. There is a 2" surface scratch at bottom center, and a 2" thin horizontal cut down to the canvas level (5" from left. 12" from bottom), and a small fibrous surface accretion (2" from right, 10" from top).
