#Repost @rantsofadesibride with @repostapp ・・・ Every year we buy flags and wear green to celebrate independence day. We should still do that. But maybe this year along with that we can even do something special to help those who don't necessary feel independent - some emotionally and some financially. Some of us are more privileged than others and I personally feel we should make turn this occasion into an opportunity to help the needy since on any other day we are usually too occupied with our own lives. Spend 14th August this year doing something nice for someone else. Volunteer at an event, visit an orphanage, feed a few people, plant a tree or clean that dirty area outside your house. For anyone interested, just yesterday I was told about this amazing event that is being organised by @patientshelpinghands in Karachi at National Institute of Child health. They are going to celebrate 14th August this year with the kids there. They have some fun activities planned for the patients like face painting, a lot of good food, goodie bags and gifts for the kids etc. I think it sounds absolutely wonderful and it warms my heart to know that people still care and are willing to take some time out for those who would really value it. I am still deciding on what I am going to do this year but I'll try and make sure I turn it into a tradition and stick to it every year. Do something nice and then tell me what you did. Or don't tell me. Just use this day as an opportunity to be extra kind. #RantsofaDesiBride #14thAugust #Independenceday #Blessed #PatientsHelpingHands #Events #celebration #Pakistan #PakistaniBloggers #InstaBlog #InstaBlogger #weddingBlog #WeddingBlogger #ActofKindness #etribune #etthemeoftheweek
