Well, seeing as I don't have anything to do, I might as well do this tag :) Not sorry for clogging up your dash.

1. Whats the weirdest thing youve done while drunk?

Well, I've only been thoroughly drunk once. But there really wasn't anything weird going on though. I held a monologue about a toothbrush or the importance of brushing your teeth or something like that. I only remember the gist of it.

2. Favourite mythical creature

A dullahan? Hahaha sorry i'm not sorry No I dunno, very cliché I know but .. a unicorn. I like those. Never given it much thought.

4. Do you prefer to call people by their nicknames or real names?

Nicknames! Well, my close friends anyway. It's a form of affection to me. When people call you by a nickname, or you call others by a nickname .. it's like, cool, social link go. sorry i need to stop referencing my fandoms here

5. If you were at an all you can eat buffet with pizza, pasta and salad, would you eat the salad?

I would probably get a tiny bowl of salad with some tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, that kind of stuff. To justify eating bazillion pizza slices.

6. Winter or summer?

This sounds simple, but actually it's not. Summer over here is not like "ooh sunny and warm it's so nice". It's either raining or Mount Doom. Winter on the other hand is most of the time also rainy and icy cold winds. And a light dust of snow. So if I could spend summer or winter anywhere I wanted to .. probably winter. Someplace with mountains so I could go snowboarding.

7. Are you supposed to be doing something right now?

Yes, recovering from my spinal surgery last week, which is going fabulously well. Considering that I'm not yet addicted to painkillers.

8. The last book you read that you started but couldnt finish.

A Casual Vacancy (JK Rowling). I got it for Christmas and really wanted to read it, but then 5-ish chapters in, I decided to read The Secret Society (Donna Tartt) instead. I read quite a few books since then, but haven't yet had the need to start on Casual Vacancy again.

9. What actor do you think has the best hair?

Kit Harington

10. Do you drink wine?

Yes. Because I'm fancy like that. I only drink it on special occasions though, like dinner parties or when eating at a fancy restaurant.

1). tell a story about your grandmother(s)

This is a story about my grandmother on my mother's side. When I was little, and I stayed over at her place, we would make soup together. It was basically this tomato/vegetable soup with little meat balls, but I called it (translated quite literally) "gran soup". And everytime we would make that soup, my gran would start making up the most random songs about soup. My all time favourite song was something along the lines of "We're making soup, soup, soup with meat balls. With meat balls. Lots of meat balls~", sung to a non-specified tune. Such glorious days. 

2). what keeps you going in life?

The thought that I still have people who care about me out there. And that someday, after I'm done with uni, but before I'm to be a responisble working adult, I can just take off to see exciting sights and do exciting things.

3). what are five books you want to read and why?

I want to read more classics. Growing up, in secondary school, we also had to read books, but always Dutch ones. Never the great English classics. So I figured I should educate myself on them some more. Pride and Prejudice is next up on my list.

But I also really want to read all Sherlock Holmes stories. So far I've only read two. And because I'm a big fan of the world of Sherlock, I just have to read the rest.

I also really want to read the Uglies series. I heard it was quite good. 

4). which television series which changed your life?

Wow okay, difficult one. But going through all the series I watched, I think it'd probably have to be BBC's Sherlock. It hasn't really changed my life, but .. I met a lot new people through it. And it's such a wonderful fandom. One of my favourite, if I have to be honest. The fans are so passionate, but not in a creepy way. I mean, there's so much emotion going on and yeah, it's a true community.

5). what are three things you wish you could change about your appearance?

My hips. I wish I could take off a few cm's. I don't care about how everybody's like; BUT YOU'RE SO SKINNY AND HIPS ARE FEMININE. BABIES! GUYS DIG THAT SHIT. Honestly, that's really nice to say, but I just don't like them. I'd love for them to be a bit less wide. 

Also, my thighs. I do admit I kinda have a distorted vision on them. Because apparently they're fine, but I beg to differ.

Lastly, I'd like to be a bit less pale. I almost never have a tan, and especially my legs look super milk-y. I'm not a fan of self-tanning products, so they stay white forever. So yeah .. it'd be nice if I tanned a bit easier though.

6). something everyone else likes or wants, but you don’t like or want

To be taller? Hurr no I kid, I'm pretty sure not everyone else wants to be taller.

Hmm, I really don't know.  

7). what do you think of time?

There's not enough of it for everyone. Really, some people aren't given enough time, whilst others just spill theirs. It's quite hypocritical for me to say something, because there are plenty of days when I just sit on my bum and do nothing. That's why I actually want to do more things. More impulsive things. And don't let anything hold me back, because now that I still have the chance to do stuff, I have to go for it. /hur yes, I don't want to grow up

8). describe the moment when you first realized you liked the person you like now, or the last person you liked

Okay, so I've known him since we were like .. 10? So that's over 10 years. Because both our fathers were involved in rock climbing courses, and the same climbing federation. And when we were little I was like "eww, boys" and he was like "eww, girls". And then we got older and both started rock climbing ourselves and you know, became friends. I don't know exactly when or how, but at some point I actually liked him, but more in a crush kind of liking, not really actual liking. We also went snowboarding together you know and it became fairly obvious that he was into me but by that time I just lost all interest. And then things got pretty awkward and I haven't seen or heard from him in like 3-4 years. 

9). do you believe in karma, luck, superstitions etc?

I do believe in the fact that for every bad thing you do, something bad will happen to you, and for every good thing you do, something good will happen to you. What goes around, comes around. Also the fact that in one lifetime, a person has to have an equal amount of bad and good luck. 

10). do you have a favourite time of day? what is it? why?

Yes. From 9pm until 1am. So like, late evening/night. Because I just like that time. It generally is also the time that I am on my computer xD During warm summers, I also like early mornings. Around 6-7am. I'm definitely not a morning person, but on summer days, that early .. it's just .. the smell that hangs in the air .. it brings a day full of expectations with it. And, yeah, I can't describe it that well, but I just like it.

11). when did you last make a life-changing decision, what was it? how did it change your life?

When I quit studying Japanese and started studying Journalism, I suppose? Since it's pretty career-altering, later on in life. If I look back at it now, it might've been better if I'd chosen something else. Then again, if I would be able to go through secondary school all over again, I'd choose completely different courses as well. So yeah. Wisdom comes with age, they say. I'm only 21 and there's a whole lot of things I already would've done differently. Wonder how many more will be added to that list in the coming years.
