Just landed back in LA.. eyes swollen shut and nose bright red from crying.. trying to find the strength to walk into my home filled with her presence.. she had a bed in every room.. toys all over the place and had just started shedding her winter coat.. I had always wanted to be a young mom and when that didn't happen I took all my desire to nurture and put it into my Bebe. I cooked her all organic breakfasts and dinner. She let me hold her like a baby even though I could tell she didn't prefer it.. when I felt like giving up or was freaking out she would calm me and bring me back to peace.. a part of me has died with her and it hurts to think about a life without her.. Woke up at 3am and cried until the sun came up.. words can't express how deeply I loved my fur baby.. she was my light and her love healed my heart and gave me strength. Her fearlessness was an inspiration and she continuously exceeded all expectations. I'm headed home today and I know the pain I feel now can't compare to the pain I'll feel when I walk back into the house and see her toys and beds.. her golden fur... Thank you for the kind words and support.. I didn't realize when I dropped Bebe off at the Kennel Club before my trip that it would be the last time I get to cuddle her.. although I booked her a private cottage, plasma tv and daily picnics in the park my fragile baby shouldn't have been without me and I'm ridden with guilt.
