I just woke up to the news of Julie and the Phantoms and. Iām so so sad about it.
I want to see the rest of their stories so so badly. I want to see Julie grow up, and I want to see Willie and Alex have their first kiss, and I want to see the boys find their unfinished business, and- Iām so sad we wonāt get to see any of it.
Iām so thankful for the first season being what it is, and Iām so thankful the show came into my life. And beyond that, Iām grateful for the fandom and for all of the people I met through jatp. I can safely say my life has changed for the best because of this show and the people Iāve met š
(And, I know Iāve been absent for a while, but I still fully intend to be involved in fandom and write fic ā no matter what happens with the show.)

i feel like iām genuinely grieving over bakugou. it feels like my heart has been ripped out of my chest. i feel lost actually, heās become my life for the past 2 years and a complete escape for me, and i found comfort in him when i had nobody. iāve never been this upset over a character before.

I noticed that you went from updating like twice a week to not updating in over a month and I just wanted to see if youāre still writing it and if youāre doing okay bc I really love this fic and I think youāre an amazing writer <3

Hi!!!! No pressure at all. I have quite a few asks about All That Remains and updates piling up, but I thought I should answer this one at the very least āŗļøāŗļø (I havenāt been answering a lot of All That Remains asks recently just because my response hasnāt changed! And I assumed you all would get tired of hearing me say āno date yet, but soonā because I WOULD DEFINITELY GET TIRED OF HEARING THAT TOO IF I WERE IN YOUR SHOES!! haha)
A little explanation for the sudden hiatus... I took 2 weeks off of writing for myself because I was feeling Exhausted after so much writing in January, and it was great!! I felt super well rested and ready to go!! but then... I fell out of my rhythm with writing and I have yet to find it š I just have a lot of rust built up and I need to shake it off, you know? I also got super super busy over these last few weeks!! I havenāt been super engaged with fandom because Iāve just been busy and tired. Itās not just All That Remains that has been dropped haha ā itās been basically everything fandom for me!! Iām behind with EVERYTHING FANDOM!! I donāt think Iāve liked a Tumblr post in the last several weeks (and my queue is running low........ š). BUT Iām hoping to get back to it soon.
AND this ask really just reminded me!!!!!!!!!!! Now is probably a good time to say this. I donāt abandon fics!!!!!!!!!!! Thatās not something I do. I might take a break for a few weeks, or I might spend my free time writing a different fandom, or something else might come up that shifts my priority away from a WIP ā but I absolutely do not abandon them. The space boys have not been abandoned!!! Theyāre just.... napping right now.......
Iām working away on the next update!! The next chapter is sitting around 2000 words, so thereās been progress!! (basically, you all can thank @thesunwillart for the progress made because HAVE YOU SEEN HER RECENT SPACE BOYS COMIC!?!?!?!)
tldr; no, I have not abandoned All That Remains (nor will I ever). I am working at the next update!!!!!!!
