Biggest shout out ever to my little sister @fern_pittman, an ER nurse who's been "deployed" to the "front line" as the administrator for a large drive-through #COVIDTesting site on the east coast. I trust her judgement and her experience. Nurses are not soldiers and this is not a war. I'll say this: battling nature is how we got here. I respect her and I respect the limits and deep care this virus is imposing upon us, I respect the exponential graphs of how steep the learning curve is for us now as well. I grieve that caregivers like nurses are critically underpaid and undervalued in our world and no amount of pot banging or photoshop will make up for that.
